We did not have a good time here. When we arrived, it was our first time here, we went past the check in point and there was a wait to be seated sign right across the bar. That's what we did, waited. There was a male employee behind the bar looking at us and I said 'hi', but he didn't say anything he just kept starring at us. He then moved over a bit in front of a screen and I thought oh finally he is looking up a table for us (mind you there was only about 3 tables occupied so it was very empty). But after fiddling around behind the screen and continuing to look at us he just walked away into the room acting as if he was doing stuff around the empty tables. So we were just left standing there for minutes until we decided to just go for a table as no one bothered to attend to us which already annoyed me. On our way across the room we crossed ways with a female employee coming from the kitchen I think and she finally showed us to a table after I explained that we had been waiting at the sign and been ignored by another employee.
My partner placed the order online through the QR Code or something and we waited. Enough time passed for us to be wondering where our drinks were. My partner went up to the bar asking that if we order online, if we get the drinks brought to the table or have to pick them up. He was assured they will be brought over shortly. More time passed and still nothing, he went up again and was told again they will be made shortly. We had 1 beer and 2 cocktails, the bar was not busy at all. Finally after ages we got our drinks, in the mean time our food already arrived before the drinks did
The food looked delicious. We had garlic bread which was yummy and the slow cooked pie and the steak sandwich. This is where it started to go even more downhill. The pie was dry and hard, the meat filling was anything but soft like you would expect slow cooked meat to be. The gravy, I couldn't eat. I don't know what was wrong with it but it was awful. It tasted like beer, intensely. The relish was also weird, couldn't eat it. It tasted like cinnamon??? It was so bizarre, worst gravy and relish I ever tasted. Made my partner taste it too in case my taste was off but he also hated it. The onion rings were not awful but the batter was definitely undercooked. The only thing I enjoyed was the mash. It seemed like a rushed meal, like someone couldnt be bothered putting effort into it that night. I usually never have leftovers because I'm very particular about not having food go to waste but I simply couldn't eat half of it because of its taste. His steak sandwich was overall better than my meal, but he (a big steak enthusiast) was not the biggest fan either. Steak itself, the seasoning and cooking, wasn't great he said. Our 2 cocktails were very different too. Mine was super strong with an overpowering alcohol taste and his tasted like they forgot the alcohol completely.
In the end we were still left hungry due to not finishing our unpleasant meals and we wanted to leave as quick as possible. The food wasn't good but the customer service was definitely worse, did not appreciate that at all.
At this point, we will not be back and not recommending this...

We’ve waited an hour for our food to come, which was understandable seeing how busy it was. When we got our food, I saw that my ‘medium well’ steak was overcooked (as pictured), bitter, and dry. It was sent back to the kitchen and I had to wait even more. After a while, it still wasn’t ready. I lost my appetite and decided to just get a refund for my meal. I got up to speak to the manager for a refund and gave feedback about the quality of our food as a whole. I was met with a passive-aggressive demeanor and a condescending tone.
The manager didn’t handle my feedback very well when I was being polite and calm. I understand the stressful nature of managing a restaurant as I’ve been in his shoes - not saying that I know exactly what he’s going through. Anything unexpected could be happening in the kitchen that customers are unaware of. I had those things in mind as I spoke to him. I even asked why he was being aggressive because I thought that the sarcasms were uncalled for.
I don’t know why asking for a refund was something to be hostile about, as if the money was coming out of his pocket directly. It feels like we lost more than the $35 that they refunded because the 2 other meals we got were barely touched, plus waiting over an hour for our food just to leave with a bad experience. For what it’s worth, if he just gave the refund and apologised for the inconvenience (because you know, basic customer service) then you wouldn’t be reading...

So we went there for our catch-up with friends group of 10 including 4 kids. When we got our entry I asked " May I have some plates for sharing " the Assistant Manager came back with 8 plates even we have 10 peoples ( I did asked another 2) but when I go giving plates to everyone looks down the plates so dirty dust, oils still on the plates (could be the washing machine wasn't wash probably)so I asked " Assistant Manager " can I please get another plates because those still dirty ( I wish I take a photo that's time). He is not even saying a word. Just grab the plates with a bad attitude and make a loud noise ( smashed on the table) in the front of the kids & our friends, then walk off. The assistant manager came back with new plates, and then I asked if everything was ok?? Have we done something wrong?? He said no. Then i said ok, so why did you smash the plates like that, darl?? He denied it said he wasn't, but literally, 10 people can hear it. His attitude so badly after try to talk to him , he said " What do you want me to do " I said an apology would be great " He said No I didn't do anything wrong " Then he keep on & on I said I would talk to someone about it he said No problem then walk off. I don't know how he can be an assistant manager with his attitude like that toward customers.
