KFC Cranbourne — Restaurant in Melbourne

Made multiple attempts to resolve issues with our order. Staff member Brooklyn privately contacted us with there personal phone regards a wait of 15 min on tenders and that if we would be happy to have other chicken instead which said yes that’s more than fine. Fast forward food arrive we have 3 meals and some extra chicken. All 3 chips are half full (as per photos), 2 of 3 burgers missing sauces and lettuce (how is that possible) especially after adding extra sauces? We are missing dipping sauces. The store manager who attended our call was beyond rude and unprofessional. At the beginning of the call I was calm and stated we had spoken to a staff member prior to our food arriving and understanding that these things happen and we would like a refund. However the manager refused to refund and said he can only refund if we bring the food back, to which we said we’d be more than happy to do however we ordered delivery through the KFC therefore as got delivery we were unable to bring the food back ourselves. I stated I’m more than happy to send photos and videos and even FaceTime as I understand unfortunately some people do the wrong thing. That wasn’t going to work and we must bring it in. We said we can send the photos to number that messaged us, I asked if they were still there, we were told yes and put on hold. We tried to send photos to them but since had been blocked, which is fine as it was clearly there private number which we respect, yet it’s strange it’s okay for them to privately text us about our order but we can’t politely and efficiently resolve issues through the same communication?We spent $60 on delivery, it’s 9pm on a Monday night. The service here was well below par. I made my order using the app and chose to collect it in-store. When I entered the restaurant I watched as a member of staff put my order together, and then just sat it on the counter by the warming stations. At the same time a staff member came out of the kitchen area and went to the counter to place their own order. They joked around and laughed amongst themselves to the point that taking this 1 order took 4 minutes, whilst my order sat on a bench by a warming station. They then fulfilled that order before the staff member realised that she hadn't cleared my order a ready. By this time it's been 6 minutes. So I make my way the 3 steps to collect my order from the pick up station and at the same time a number of new customers entered the restaurant. Their orders were taken whilst I was left waiting again. Finally I had the bag of food that had been sitting on the counter handed to me. I checked it and had to point out that the order was incomplete. The staff member was not impressed because they were missing out on the gossip session going on with all of the other staff at the time. To be honest the impression I got was that there wasn't a manager on duty at the time and the entirely teenage staff was taking advantage of that to goof off and socialise at the expense of doing their actual job. Service was OK. Ordered through the app. Chicken was very oily & coating very mushy. Out of 8 pieces we were given 5 thighs!!! The other 3 were a rib, wing & drumstick. Potato & gravy was scorching hot but gravy was watery. No spoons or serviettes given at all.

EDIT: 06/12/22= couldn't order through app, app wouldn't recognise any store in cranbourne. Young fella on the register was very helpful in putting our order through as what we wanted was only available on the app. The store was PUTRID!!! From the moment we walked in we were met with a bin right infront of us beyond over flowing! The floor was strewn with rubbish & looked like it hadn't been mopped or swept for days on end! My 4yo even went to the counter to ask them why they hadn't cleaned up & why the store was so messy!! For us to eat in I obtained a spray & wipe bottle that I found on a table with a clean unused chux type cloth. I cleaned our table myself before we sat at it to eat as it was covered in streaks & looked oily. The chicken was OK. Coating abit soft & abit oily but I have had much much worse. They were out of coleslaw which was a shame however the potato & gravy was piping hot but was missing its usual herbs & spices kick. The gravy was very pale too.
