KFC Doncaster — Restaurant in Melbourne

This used to be a great KFC with good, fresh chicken and a really good team of kids on drive through. Alas, no more.

I went through drive through tonight for the first time in a few months and the service was terrible. The guy taking the order kept either mishearing or defaulting to what he thought was the order so i had no confidence the order was correct. He then flashed the order up for two seconds and then closed it so i couldn't check at the time.

The girl at the payment window was rude and uninterested and seemed frustrated that i was holding her up by checking my order after she barked the price at me. As i suspected, the orders had been put through as Crunch versions of original. I explained i did not want the "original "crunch"" , just "original". She said, "they ARE original". After i pointed out the order said original crunch and that i did NOT want corn chips in my burgers or twisters, she insisted the crunch did not have corn chips and thrust the drinks and desserts at me, in a pointed effort to end the order discussion. I figured maybe they had changed the name of the originals, but was not convinced. It was clear she was never going to redo the order and that as far as she was concerned, my order was correct. As there were people behind me, i cut my losses. I asked for a bag to carry the drinks and desserts. "Ask at the next window" she said and closed the door. Breathtaking.

The next girl was actually friendly and nice, but looked confused when i asked for a bag, but she helpfully found one.

Brought my order home. As suspected, stuffed full of stale corn chips😠

AND to add insult to injury, the chicken tenders were appalling. To be honest, they were completely overcooked and dry and hard like dried paper mache coated in deep fried wood chip. They tasted like they had been sitting around and was refried/cooked to heat it up.

It was pretty clear the girl taking the payments could not have cared less if the order was right, or if i had a good experience.

Tbh, if you have a night where the chicken is dry, but the service is good, customers may let it go as they like the staff If your chicken is on point, but the service was lacklustre, you may be saved by a tasty meal.

But rude service AND crap...

I've been a delivery Driver for a long time, not once have I been poorly treated and yelled at and I have a very High rating for my delivery service. Tonight at 19:14pm 21st July 2025 at this KFC branch, the 15 y.o Girl deliberately delayed my order which was 2nd last on the Delivery Computer screen and she made the last order on the screen which came way later than mine and bigger orders than mine. I arrived 4 mins before the pickup time and had to wait an extra 5 mins past pickup time because of what She did, which wasted my time. I heard Her talk about Me with Her other female colleague behind my back. I went and questioned the Manager why the Girl had done that and instead of getting a polite response I was yelled at and criticized by the Manager for yelling at the Girl which I did not do any of that. It's not the first time some of these Young girls don't do their job properly. Last time the same Girl was just standing there talking to the other girl staff instead of packing the orders, I told Her You shouldn't be just standing there and talking and do Your job properly. Both this incident and last time I did not yell at Her. This time I even caught Her eating the food from the Store while working, which should be a code of conduct strictly prohibited while working and not on a break. If this Company can't even have people teach these Young kids properly on how to do their job and respect their job while working, what Good is it for them to even work and get experience here. It's No Wonder why You have Poor service reviews for this Branch. If I'm gonna get treated like that again, I'm definitely going to Blacklist this KFC Branch. I don't only do Delivery for this KFC, I myself have bought food from here many times because I just live 3 mins away. It's really Shameful how Kids are taught these days, cannot even accept fair criticism from the things they are doing wrong from a Mature Adult (I'm 45 and she's 15, I've tasted more salt than She eating rice is the Chinese proverb to...

Ordered via app at :515 pm and drove to the Doncaster East kfc store by 5:30 pm. Collected order at 5:45 pm and said "thank you" to a blonde chubby girl that made my order. She was silent didn't say anything. Got home and my surprise 10 wicked wings were missing. Returned to store at 6:15 pm and informed Blonde chubby girl she forgot the 10 wicked wings, showing her my order on my mobile via the app. She did'nt even look at my mobile and didn't even say anything not even an apology. Blonde girl grabs a small box and stuffs wicked wings in it dropping one on the floor. I walked to my car thinking I should check the number of wicked wings. There were 7 wicked wings when it should have been 10. I returned to the store a second time to inform the blonde chubby girl she gave me 7 instead of 10 wicked wings. There was NO APOLOGY and again the Blonde chubby girl said nothing, she had a "ZERO CARE ATTITUDE". An Indian girl apologized and told me of a 10 minute wait on the wicked wings. The blonde clubby girl then dropped a full tray of popcorn chicken, her incompetence just gets better. A boy sweeps up after the blonde chubby girl's incompetent mess. Another customer checks his order and says "Hey where is my wicked wings?" incompetence goes to a whole new level. He is also told there is a 10 minute delay. By this time the Indian girl gave me my wicked wings, which I counted 3 times before leaving the store at 6:45 pm. ONE HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES. I WILL NEVER...
