If you think every KFC is the same, you haven’t been to the Rowville one. Sure, they’ve got your Zingers, your Wicked Wings, your large chips with the perfect salt ratio—but none of that even compares to the absolute experience that is being served by a certain young man behind the counter. His name? Aiden. And he’s not just an employee—he’s a phenomenon.
It was a cloudy Tuesday when I first set foot into Rowville’s KFC. I wasn’t expecting much. I was hungry. I wanted something greasy. Maybe a Tower Burger. I’d just finished a long shift at work, and I wasn’t in the mood to talk. But then—he appeared.
Aiden.
Tall, fit, perfectly styled dark hair under that iconic KFC cap. His jawline could slice through a Zinger box, and his smile? Let’s just say if Colonel Sanders saw it, he’d rebrand the whole company around it. It wasn’t just his looks though—it was the vibe. He greeted every customer with a confidence that wasn't cocky, with warmth that didn’t feel forced. There’s customer service, and then there’s Aiden service.
As I approached the counter, he gave me a nod like I was stepping into a secret club. “Hey mate, what can I get you?” he said, voice smooth but grounded. I stuttered—actually stuttered—trying to order a simple three-piece box. He didn’t laugh. He just smiled knowingly, like this happened a lot. (I bet it does.)
Now, let’s talk efficiency. I’ve never seen someone move so elegantly between fryer, screen, and register. It was like watching a choreographed routine. One second he was packing popcorn chicken like an artist laying mosaic tiles, the next he was casually helping a kid choose between a Krusher and a frozen Coke, kneeling down to speak to him at eye level. Legend.
And it’s not just how he treats customers. You can tell the whole team respects him. I noticed staff were more upbeat when Aiden was around—chatting, laughing, working faster, smoother. He gave high-fives to the kitchen crew and shouted out orders like a general leading a fried chicken army. “Two Zinger boxes, extra wicked! Let’s go team!” And they went. The place buzzed with energy like I’d never seen in fast food before.
I returned the next day. And the next. Partly for the chicken, but let’s be honest—it was Aiden.
One time, an elderly woman dropped her wallet while waiting in line. Aiden saw it before anyone else, gently picked it up, and even offered to walk her to her car after her meal. The entire restaurant watched. Some clapped. A few cried. Okay maybe not, but we all felt something.
Over time, I became a regular. The KFC Rowville became less about the food and more about the culture that Aiden somehow created. Even when he wasn’t on shift (rare, but heartbreaking when it happened), you could feel the echo of his influence. The team had a rhythm, a flow, and a joy that just felt… right. It’s a place that reminds you fast food doesn’t have to feel fast or...
Read moreI believe this is my first and will most likely be my last and only review I have ever made on google reviews. I have frequented KFC Rowville a considerable amount of times and can attest that KFC Rowville has consistently provided an outstanding service. On its bad days it still outshines most other KFC's and I can confidently say that 9 times out of 10 KFC Rowville provides a Quality Controlled, fresh, and quick service. The Chips are almost always hot and with the correct amount of salt. The breading on the tenders, zingers and OR is very well done and I admire the team of cooks not being lazy and doing proper procedure. The drinks are always cool, most KFCs have issues keeping their drinks cold. The staff are professional, polite and well selected by management. The only issue I have is purely philosophical, that being; KFC is a product of Globalism and the Judeo-American International Financial Empire. As a staunch National Socialist it is a "sin" of sorts to support anything but locally owned and employed food service business. I also focus on living a clean and modest life in line with the Aryan worldview and KFC is more than just a "cheat meal". The peace I have made with a higher power is that I will continue to purchase from KFC Rowville until our National Socialist community here in Melbourne has the ability to produce Zingy Stackies and tendies in line with the world view. Until then, Hail...
