Le Bar Supper Club — Restaurant in Melbourne

I have been to Le Bar twice now and this was my experience... 1st Round: We went on a Saturday night to burlesque with friends. We had an amazing night. Great vibes, great food, great drinks, great show, great staff! There was not a single thing i would change. It was not a cheap night and the bill was pretty large by the end but it was worth every penny! I had the calamari for entree which was cooked perfectly, the dip was perfection and best of all it was not too oily with a perfect portion size. Next I had the steak again cooked perfectly to my liking and delicious prawns, have had a steak so good in years. Lastly our table shared both desserts. The chocolate mousse was a great size to be shared and makes the price worthwhile. It was the right amount of rich and very well done. BUT the Creme Brulee takes the cake! It was hands down the best Creme Brulee I've ever had and the vanilla in it was perfection! I dreamt about that dessert and couldn't wait to go back. The show was great, the girls were lovely and we had a really great night!

2nd Round: The bar had been set, and I was excited! This time around I went with my husband. This round we went on a Friday night with a burlesque show again. I ended having the same meal as last time with an added half dozen of oysters. The alcohol free oysters were fantastic really delicious and worth the money spent. My entree was great, my husband got the Smoked salmon. It was nice but nothing special and we probably wouldnt order it again for the price. After entrees we asked if they had started cooking our mains yet or if we could have a break. We were told by staff that a break is fine as they hadn't started yet. When we were ready we told then and shortly after our mains arrived at our table. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our mains. Whilst the taste was still there parts of our meal was cold (which shouldn't have been the case as we had specifically asked). This again did not make it worth the price for the meal. Lastly we both ordered the Creme Brulee. It arrived at our table very quickly and cold. This was so disappointing because it was not as nice and the vanilla flavour was not there. I felt like it was rushed. The show that night only had 1 performer not 2 which was also disappointing, I dont know if that's normal for Fridays or if it was just and off night. I dont think the payment for show should be the same if there is only one performer. I also think you should be able to see who's performing when as when I booked our 2nd night the photo was of 1 performer and a different performer actually did the show.

Le Bar is not close to where I live so for me to come out with such a high price tag it has to be fantastic as it was the 1st time. I really hope it was an off night the second time around but I will not go back on a Friday night again.

I will return at some stage to give them another shot at the quality I had the first time around and I hope they get it right because it really was the perfect place with amazing food and worth every penny...

I had been following this bar on instagram and couldn’t wait to go. It is definitely a destination place and worth the drive, given I live on the other side of town. The images and social content looked polished and glamorous the interior and entertainment looked sophisticated and elegant. So I booked it for my 25th wedding anniversary. I was hoping it was just as beautiful when we got there. Well it was better.. I couldn’t have chosen a better venue. The staff were all exceptional at their jobs. The entertainment was world class. Evana De Lune was mesmerising enchanting and delightful, YES she left me wanting more, and Velma Vouloir was exactly as her name suggests smooth sensual and the perfect amount of thigh jiggle to make your jaw drop and pant. These ladies are powerfull - mercy please ! The 3 course was great value, it’s what I would call an honest plate of food . The classic menu was well considered, fresh perfectly presented and exceptionally timed. The cocktails were an exceptional standard, very well priced and went down sooooo very very easy. The waiting staff are knowledgeable I took trust in their recommendations and they didn’t dissapoint. My husband wore a tuxedo and I took the risk and wore an outrageous fun Corset back mini fru fru wedding dress stockings suspenders and a garter …. Well it could have gone horribly wrong … but it didn’t… they got it . They made us feel so welcome, special and at ease. This hidden gem in the heart of Beaumaris is a little portal to a sensual world of hypnotic elegance, grace, luxury and enchantment. I tell everyone about it and it’s fast becoming my not so local hangout. I have booked for jazz and look forward to the experience. I would like to deeply thank everyone at Le Bar for making my 25th wedding anniversary a beautiful night to remember. My husband and I felt swept off our feet...

The food is exceptional, with the Eye Fillet and Duck à l’Orange being personal favourites. They're always cooked to perfection, bringing consistency and quality to each plate. For those who enjoy sharing, the Truffle Pomme Frites and fresh Oysters are must-tries. Ending the night with their Crème Brûlée and a robust espresso is the perfect culmination of a delightful evening.

The cocktails here are nothing short of perfect, each a masterpiece of mixology. Alongside these, the selection of spirits and wines is spectacular as well, featuring a variety of premium and unique options that cater to all tastes.

As for the service, it's exemplary. Dina, Jai, Ash, and the rest of the team go above and beyond to ensure every visit is special. Their attention to detail and customer care contributes to the overall magical experience.
