Napolitano Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

LOVE! Last night the family wanted to go out for pizza and we thought we'd go to the local pizza place in Beaumaris Concourse, this way we could take our dog and bring back the pizza and eat at home.

Instead, we ate our pizzas outside of Napolitano - they have tables and chairs. The pizzas were delicious and light.. but even lovelier were the owners who were extremely friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed chatting to the husband and wife and their two beautiful children who were just as hospitable and well mannered. We were also treated to complimentary dessert (YUM!). As we chatted with the owners, they advised us that their pastas, pizzas and salad were made right there and then, no pre-preparing of food.

This wasn't your ordinary pizza take away place, this was pizza with a difference; back to old school, highest of customer service. We will definitely go back to try their pastas and salads and our boy Chester, will also enjoy his outing.

Just happened to be in the area and walking past this place, couldn’t believe the delicious aroma coming through the door!! We were going next door for ice cream but decided we better try the pizza for dinner as well. So glad we did! Absolutely best Margherita I’ve ever had and my partner loved his extra spicy Mexicana. The owner greeted us and was super friendly and accommodating, making both our pizzas half n half so we could try the mushroom pizza and the Mediterranean. These did not disappoint either. The Mediterranean was made with all in house marinated ingredients and was so flavourful and not vinegary like other Mediterranean pizzas I’ve had in the past. The dough is perfect, thin and crispy while still having a soft centre in the crust. No soggy bottoms! All in all a wonderful meal.

I had a large half Mexicana half Hawaiian pizza, as I couldn't decide between the 2 pizza toppings I enjoy the most when ordering the pizza. The pizza was by far the best pizza I've had from the bayside area yet. The Mexicana had the right amount of chili flakes and the pizza as a whole just screamed freash ingredients which made for a very enjoyable pizza on both halfs. You can tell they take great pride when making their pizza's and to top it all off the owner was an absolute champion!! I can't recommend this pizza...
