In response to your reply to my review; After returning to collect the 5 coconut rice dishes and the Pad Gao Pao cooked in fried rice (as the menu states) that were missing from the order I returned to work to find that there was no fried rice in the meal as expected and the Drunken Noodles contained no noodles. When I called back the second time to explain that the orders were still incorrect I was 'offered' a refund by your staff on the complete order (not requested as you stated) which I accepted. As your staff kindly offered a full refund and explained it would take 5 days for the money to return to my account I trusted that this would occur. As I did not expect for you to simply change your mind about the refund after offering, I did not take payments for the teams dinners which has left me $192.85 out of pocket which I'm sure you understand is a substantial amount of money which is why you no longer wish to honour the refund. I was clear in my order, it was also read back to me so the multiple errors were made by your staff. I respect that we all make mistakes but don't offer what you don't intend to deliver.
Not faulting the quality of the food but customer service and organisational skills has left a bad taste in my mouth. When you order 200 dollars worth of food and half of the food is missing when you get to work is really frustrating. Half of the team had cold dinners due to having to go back to wait for the rest of the order to be prepped. The first time, when I arrived at my designated pickup time, nobody was on the restaurant floor; I had to call out, and someone came out of the kitchen, looked at me all confused, then went in and started cooking my order. The pad se ew was like, 60% vegetables. Not very authentic. A few weeks later I thought, what the heck, I'll give them another chance. Maybe they had an off day?
Wrong. A few weeks later, I showed up, once again at my designated time, and got shuffled around the restaurant twice while waiting, and I ended up spending 20 minutes sitting next to the door getting blasted with freezing cold air while I got asked four times what my order was by some kid who kept saying 'you normal order or uber eats?' before wandering off only to return a few minutes later to ask the exact same question. I eventually got sick of this and went up to the counter to ask an adult what was going on with my order. After spelling out the name, the order items, he turned around and picked up the order WHICH HAD BEEN SITTING ON THE COUNTER THE WHOLE TIME. After he handed it over? "Have a nice night". No "sorry for the wait" or "apologies for the confusion", just no acknowledgement at all. I wouldn't have written this if there had been some measure of accountability, empathy or basic consideration, but here we are.
It wasn't worth the wait. The Pad Thai noodles were badly cooked and clumped together in a dry mess. Will be giving this place a wide berth...
Read moreI had a rude and terrible experience there on Wednesday 2/4/2025. From the minute we went into the restaurant, we were constantly being rushed to order. My partner wanted to use the loo. When we asked the lady at the desk, she said that they don't have a toilet open to the 'public'. She constantly kept asking if we were ready to order. I told her that my partner was pressed and that she needed to pee. She finally let my partner use 'their' toilet in the back of the kitchen. I went to the front desk and ordered our meal. I wanted to pay straight away for the meal, but I was told that I can only pay after eating. Before our meal arrived, I observed another customer (abled white looking chap) was served first. This same lady served him his meal with water and cutlery from the station. When our meal finally arrived, we got told that we have to get our own cutlery from that same station. As we sat there in disbelief, wondering what just happened. After a couple of minutes, this same lady, maybe out of guilt or whatever, walked to the cutlery station and served us some cutlery. Our food wasn't great. We definitely do not see the reason to go back...
