Very lucky to get an invite to Lennox Wine Bar through friends, otherwise I might not ever had the pleasure of getting out to this part of the world (no passport required, but uggh, had to use public transport 😂)
This evening was a wine tasting soiree ($15 to sample a number of wines) but I also made sure I hit up their chesse and meat board too.
I wasn't a fan of ALL the wines for tasting (well, you gotta be in it to win it, as such) But I LOVED the expertise, friendliness and general vibe of it all!
The owners were there and I thought very engaging - the staff knew their wines - and I gotta say the cheesey/meaty board (large platter) bloody good too! Although, having pretzels included was a random option for me BUT overall it was a bloody good night!

The lobster roll on brioche was the best I've had since New England (the US one), and the charcuterie and halloumi plates also squarely hit the mark. The selection of wines and drinks was impressive, with a takeaway shop and a tempting cocktail list ... that's a goal for our next visit.
Definitely a new favourite, and such an excellent addition to the...
Read moreOur first time here at Lennox Wine Bar and it will be the first of many times! We sat right next to the bar so it was the perfect position to be handed different wines directly from the very friendly bar tender as well as having the water topped up and food orders taken.
We tried many wines and we particularly enjoyed the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The food we ordered complemented the wines well and we especially loved the meatballs.
All in all a fantastic experience and a hidden gem in the historic Mailing...
