Walked in and no one was at the counter, even though I could hear food frying in kitchen. After a few minutes, the ownerâan older Asian manâcame out, looked at me, and just frowned. No greeting, no âwhat can I get you?ââjust silence. I ordered âchips for one,â and he responded with, âThatâs it? Thatâs all youâre ordering?â before dumping some chips in the fryer without another word. I assumed itâd be a quick order, but ended up waiting 20 minutes with no explanation. The shop itself looked pretty sketchyâraw fish was just sitting out in the open near the counter. Overall, not a good experience. There are much better, cleaner, and more welcoming fish and chip shops around....
