The Good Food Collective — Restaurant in Melbourne

The food is okay, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they always 'sell out' of lentil wraps even before lunchtime. There's obviously a strong demand, so why not make more? I've seen numerous customers miss out by getting there too late. There are always many chicken wraps left...

In response to the comment by the owner: A review is a gauge of one's overall satisfaction with an establishment. If they fail to meet a customer's needs (ie. not being able to buy one of their products even at 11:30am because they sell out) it should be mentioned. There's no global shortage of lentils, nor wraps. Hopefully the owners will take this rather self-evident complaint onboard and make more lentil...

Centrally located cafe.

The service is quick and efficient, could be a bit more friendlier and welcoming. As a customer you never wanna have that feeling like you are a burden.

Coffee was good but there is a lot of competition locally and it would be fair to say I have not yet experienced a 'bad' coffee in this shopping strip.

What could be the decider is the friendly service.

We had lunch recently at The Good Food Collective cafe in Maling Rd Canterbury and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, the menu original aInd the food delicious. In addition the prices are very reasonable. We tried a variety of dishes and all were excellent. We look forward to returning regularly and highly recommend the cafe to everyone. Well worth a visit...
