Li Xiu Kitchen — The Glen Review 20/6/2025 The Glen’s food court is a vibrant hub for food lovers, where each vendor competes to stand out. Li Xiu Kitchen offers rice or noodle dishes paired with a variety of meats and vegetables from a bain-marie setup. While my friend went with the Combination Noodle, my wife requested a customised version — swapping the standard noodles for crispy ones and opting for prawns only. The staff were accommodating and charged a modest $2 extra, which proved worthwhile as the dish came with a generous serve of prawns. That said, the meal did not quite meet expectations. The gravy lacked depth of flavour and leaned a bit heavily on salt. On the bright side, the prawns were crunchy, and the noodles lived up to their crisp promise. All in all, it was a decent but unremarkable experience — functional for a quick meal, but not one I would rush back for.

I got the fried beef noodles. Fried where bruh? It was soggy as hell and was oddly slimy. I imagine this is what it’s like to eat wet tissues. Beef was just boiled even though it SAID FRIED BEEF NOODLE. And even the noodles weren’t fried??? I can also swear up and down that the corn used was spoilt… tasted so yucky I had to spit it out immediately. Look at these pictures and tell me if this looks like a fried noodle. OH AND I HAD TO WAIT LIKE 40 MINUTES BECAUSE THEY FORGOT TO RING MY BUZZER!!!

Just okay. The fried rice was salty and barely had any vegetables or egg in it. At least the Pork bbq noodles was warm and soothing. The dumplings were hard and wasnt kept steamed, it was just reheated we can tell. Portions were okay for the price, but the quality just wasn’t there. Service was fast, but the food didn’t taste fresh. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again. Theres definitely plenty of options to spend your hard earned money on.

Naughty naughty eatery at The Glen food court. Ordered prawn dumplings (4 very tiny prawn dumplings) and two steamed dim sims for my daughter, which cost close to $14.00. She sat down and first ate the prawn dumplings, which she mentioned tasted okay but average. She then got onto the steamed dim sims, and after two bites, she advised me that it smelled odd and tasted off as if the pork had not been cooked properly. Initially, I didn't believe her thinking that she was just fussy, so I tried the steamed dim sim myself and found that she was right after all. It tasted off and smelled like bad meat. Tossed it away as anymore of it would have made one ill. We will not be purchasing any more food from here. I'm pretty sure they do not practice proper and appropriate food handling here. Not recommended at all. Do...

The veggie curry puffs are always the best, so delicious, and right amount of spice, and savouriness, with a good filling to pastry ratio. However, it is bit on the oily side hence minus one star. I like going here for a small snack for $2.80. Can’t comment on any other products as have not tried anything else. They do serve food direct from the counter that you can choose from like the counter next to them, with many to choose from such as fried rice, noodles and variety of side dishes. Looks...
