These guys do coffee right! And a few other things...

They're all about that bold dark roast and I love it. The place has got a funny retro feel with some iconic toys and wears from several decades. The owners a quirky dude and his Cafe reflects that.

A few other note worthy food items found here:

"The bacon and egg role with the lot". This bad boy is served in a turkish role with egg, bacon, cheese and house made hollandaise sauce. This thing is brilliant, the cheese melts into the hollandaise and next thing you know you've had a brilliant day. I'd suggest this is not an every day treat though or else you'll need to increase your pants size.

A selection of home style slices including Mars Bar slice and brownie. These are just like your mum used to make when you were a kid. Nothing fancy,...

Little Buddy is one of those hidden gems you stumble across and are glad you did. Catering to those early starters is a rarity these days, so being able to start your early rise with a smooth and well blended coffee poured by a quality barista is gold.

Open from 6am , which to my knowledge is the only cafe in the area to do so, shows they are in touch with the community and prepared to go the extra mile. That feeling of waking up early and not getting a coffee, enter Little Buddy.

I have been coming to little buddy for about a year and can not speak highly enough of both owner and staff. Always have been pleasant and welcoming. Food is fresh and generous. Coffee has been consistent from day one. So smooth I often squeeze a bag from the owner.

5/5 because they have...

4/5 for set up, outdoor dining has adapted well to covid-19 restrictions however some tables were without adequate rain cover and tables weren't exactly level due to being in slanted parking spaces. 5/5 for the coffee, good balance between coffee flavours and milk both soy and dairy. 5/5 for food, breakfast burrito was not overpowering with flavours while not being bland. The corn fritters and avocado smash, I cannot say it was the best as it's not something I usually order anywhere but it's the much better than most places. 4/5 for service, interesting set up, I believe it's perfect for take out/away however there was little accommodation for the rain when we asked to move tables... Good niche place when...

They are a super cute little cafe in the suburbs. Nothing to fancy, just a great local meeting point with quality coffee and food. The service was really friendly! My vegetarian friend was actively offered mushrooms instead of chorizo in the breakfast wrap at no extra charge. The only downside was everything was done in takeaway form and there was no seating or toilets which was a bit annoying. I understand it would have been covid related but all other places I have been haven’t been doing this.

Just OK would be my verdict. It’s a cute place inside but that’s where the good things end. The coffee didn’t strike me as anything other than fairly average, tbh. This is odd for me but I struggled to finish it. And, I wasn’t keen on the bread they use for a slice of toast. A thick piece of plain white bread that wasn’t that tasty and was likely bereft of nutrients. Overall, a disappointing visit here
