Lulabelle's Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

What a local Hartwell village treasure Lullabelle's Cafe is. Always bustling with happy locals as well as passers by. We've become regulars. Louisa and Frank are very welcoming hosts as well as brilliant providores. From "the best coffee in town" according to my better half and, believe me, she is a harsh judge, to wonderful spanakopita and special relish (best I've had), to lemon, ginger and caramel slices, plain and date scones avec jam and cream and a wide array of toasted and packaged sandwiches, croissants and rolls. There's something here for everyone baked fresh each day. Viva Lullabelle....

Had a wonderful experience with Lulabelle's Cafe, who supplied scones, jam and cream for a work function I organised. We had to reschedule the event many times over a whole year due to lockdown interruptions, and they were incredibly patient and flexible at every turn. The scones were packaged carefully for transportation when I picked them up, complete with plenty of jam and cream. The scones themselves were amazing, and so many of our staff members commented on how light and fluffy and delicious they were and wanted to know where they were from! Huge thank you to Frank...

Four of us came here on Christmas Eve. Lots of the surrounding cafes were not open due to it being close to Christmas, but fortunately Lulabelle's was open. We ordered milkshakes, ice lattes, salmon fritters, vegetarian pie and pork rolls. Not only was the food delicious but the customer service was also exceptional. They are very friendly and are willing to have a good conversation with customers. We need more cafe owners like these people. Thanks so much for sticking around, and I will definitely be back to try more delicious...
