Ma's Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

This once was a great place, it has been my go to for years but now after tonight I don't think I can go back.

I was told 20-25 minutes for pick up. Had to wait a total of 50 minutes, that's OK. I understand things can blow out in the kitchen at times. I'm ok with waiting a bit longer so long as it means the order is correct and quality it there.

But when I get all the way home and discover the meals had ingredients missing or incorrect that made me very disappointed. The roti bread had sweet n sour sauce not peanut sauce??? the Pad Thai had no tofu or lemon and container was half full, to add further pain the Massaman beef was so watery and flavourless it was uneatable. Only good thing...

On Mother’s Day my daughter ordered dinner for us via Menulog. The order was accepted through the app. Approximately 30 minutes after the expected delivery time my daughter rang Mas to check on the progress of our order. The man that answered the phone said in a VERY aggressive manner “we don’t use Menulog any more”. My daughter was confused because the money had been removed from her account so she attempted to ask him a couple of other questions at which time he aggressively said he had no time for her and hung up. I have always loved the food from Mas but after witnessing how one of their employees treated my daughter I will never order from them again and I will not recommend...

I so wanted to give a great ranking but as a foodie must say it was just satisfactory . It would definitely cater for the average person that has not been to the high class Thai restaurants. Don’t get me wrong it was very tasty but the amount of hotness which was denoted by chillies on the take away menu was not an indication. The delivery was first class and a nice touch was the complimentary prawn crackers. I’m still struggling for a go to Thai in Sunbury, I thought Rice Scoop was the one but it has sadly slipped.
