Martini and Co | Bayside Frankston — Restaurant in Melbourne

Okay so , for the price this place is a joke. The staff push and push you to order when you first sit down and then totally ignore you after asking 6 times if we are ready to order. The staff all look miserable, barely any smiles and the uniforms are just lazy for a supposed 4 star restaurant. The food was lukewarm and expensive and took ages to come out considering they have you on a time limit. Don't know what any of their names are as they don't even wear name tags by the looks of it. The menu says GF and Vegan options available just ask and when we asked he stated that there wasn't a vegan option available on everything. (As is implied via Menu) they were very rude and had an almost entitled and arrogant attitude, like we weren't valued customers and we were just going to get pushed alone in order for another group to be seated (I was sitting with about 7-8 people you'd think they'd be somewhat nice as to make a larger amount off our table?? Apparently not) I honestly was appalled at the wait staff, I think they all need re-education on how to provide amazing table service for a pricy restaurant. As a customer service manager, if any of my staff acted the way these guys did, they'd be given a warning. Will not be eating as this establishment again. Also they weren't taking any orders down they were just remembering off the top of their heads which only works if you actually remember what the orders are.

Blonde young dude with moustache: maybe you shouldn't work in a Vegan option restaurant if you're going to be arrogant towards Vegans. My friend was trying so hard not to be difficult and you were kind of rude. Hope you learn something from this, all 8 of us will not...

Looks can really be deceiving can't they? I walked in and visually the place seemed like a welcoming warm place to have lunch. Oh man, was I wrong, I sat down, and the first waiter was fantastic, he got a drink ready straight away, and was happy to wait it out while I had decided what to order. Great service by him. I didn't see that waiter again, as the waiter changed, and the experience went down from there. I waited to order, and looked around the mostly empty restaurant, I caught eye contact with the waiter who gave the what? what do you want? vibe. He came and said, everyone else is too busy to take your order, however when I looked, nobody was doing anything? I ordered the parma in which came out within 2-3 minutes? I'm sorry? how does it cook in 3 minutes? I decided to let that slide, and begin to eat, once again, visually, very appealing. The gravy was cold and tasted terrible, the parma itself was cold, and perhaps now I think about it, it might've been pre-prepared and microwaved, and that is disgusting, the chips were the hottest, and freshest, but I don't think they were cooked to order. I'm not sure what went wrong here, but 2nd waiter wasn't pleasant and the food was horrible. Sorry, not good...

I had my sons 1st birthday/baptism at Martini & Co over the weekend and I must say it was the most wonderful and memorable day and couldn't have asked for it to be any better. Milan and his team went above and beyond to accommodate with also staying open a little bit later the night before to help set everything up from tables to name cards and menus etc not only that they closed majority of the resturant for us to accommodate the large amount of guests we had invited. They made the day go so smooth and worry free and we're so helpful making sure everyone didn't go hungry or thirsty aswell as making sure that everything was perfect to their liking. The food was absolutely delicious and it has been every time we have come to the resturant I will definitely return to see milan and his team and would highly reccomended them to friends and family. I had comments from all friends and family on the day and afterwards saying it was amazing from the food, Milan and his staff and resturant saying they would come back to eat and drink.
