Ordered a McChicken Burger Meal with a Big Mac around 12am Was told both burgers were in the bag. Rookie mistake not to check myself. Got home realised missing Big Mac. Rang the store no answer.
Rang the next day to let them know, extremely polite "hey just letting you know this and that can i jsut get a voucher for the mistake".
Riley told me that the employee clicked buns with only Big Mac sauce, which I said okay there's been a clear mistake and a miscommunication issue on your end because I specifically said 2 burgers and the staff specifically said both burgers were in the bag. (the big Mac sauce and buns-their mistake, was NOT in the bag) Soo 2 errors made.
Riley them explains that even though their staff has cleary made 2 mistakes. 1 The order. 2. Leaving out and forgetting their own 2nd burger they thought I ordered (missing item regardless).
He can now only get a voucher of 50 cents for the Big Mac sauce (50 cents worth). Soo no accountability at all for a simple error.
Was extremely condescending, I merely said how ludicrous is it that I'm ringing for 50 cents. Cleary I was charged an extra 4 -5 dollars for a burger that never existed. I just wanted a voucher for that missing burger and you offer a Big Mac Sauce HAHAHAH soo this review is worth the satisfaction for the lack of common sense I just had to be put through.
Not only last night, but on the phone call. Just train these kids to have some thought of common sense especially when someone is being polite. When I mentioned the above I was then offered a $10 voucher. Soo being rude is better than polite I guess ?
McDonald's makes an error, just compensate your customers for your mistakes and...
Read moreIt's a MacDonalds. It has disabled access. It has a drive through. It is open 24/7 but some of the night time is only drive through. It is suitable for families. It has bathrooms. It has a menu similar to what it always has had: fries, chicken Mcnuggets, bigmac, quarter pounder, Mcfeast, fillet o fish, cheeseburger, burger, a range of chicken burgers. It has soft drinks, sundaes, thickshakes,.orange juice, water. (Not sure if OJ is just for breakfast)
There are meal deals at all times where you can get a burger/Mcmuffin with fries/hashbrown and drink.
It has build your own gourmet burgers and chips, but not all the time. It's available from when breakfast ends (10.30) I think till about 10pm. I understand the gourmet range can have a waiter/waitress service bring the order to your table with lush napkins.
Then it has healthier options including wraps and salads.
It also has a McCafe where you can get reasonable/ok-good coffee with cakes or a toastie.
Some options are available 24 hours a day including bigmac, quarter pounder, cheeseburger, a type of breakfast Mcmuffin, chicken nuggets and fries.
The Breakfast menu is available for certain times when the main day menu isn't available (except for some options available 24/7). Hours are approximately 5am till 10.30am. The breakfast menu has Mcmuffins - plain with jam, egg, egg and bacon, egg and sausage, and usually a Frankenstein combination that may incude a hashbrown. It has hashbrowns (by themselves) which are tasty but no doubt unhealthy. Orange Juice. Water. Coffee.
I am sure I've missed...
Read moreI’ve had several visits to the Clifton Hill McDonald’s, and while the food is usually consistent with what you’d expect, the management leaves much to be desired. During my most recent visit, the manager on duty seemed uninterested in resolving customer concerns and was openly dismissive toward both staff and patrons.
It was clear that the team was understaffed and overwhelmed, yet instead of stepping in to help or providing guidance, the manager was abrupt and unprofessional. I witnessed multiple customers waiting excessively for their orders, and any attempts to ask for updates were met with an attitude that bordered on rude.
Additionally, the way the manager interacted with the staff was concerning. There were moments of visible frustration, with no effort made to provide constructive feedback or support. It made for an uncomfortable atmosphere that trickled down to the overall customer experience.
I understand fast food is a demanding environment, but leadership should set the tone for both service and morale. Unfortunately, at Clifton Hill McDonald’s, the lack of effective management makes the experience frustrating for both customers and the hardworking team. I hope McDonald’s takes steps to improve the management at this location because it’s letting the entire...
