Forever shadowed as "oh is that Edinburgh gardens little brother?" by fellow parks, darling gardens stands on its own trunk as the second best slack line speciality hub within Melbourne. Visited by top the 25% of Clifton Hill's affluent oodle owners this park has pooch friendly features including trees and a rotunda, besides man, endless loops are a pooches best friend, well second best. Great for families of all shapes and sizes Darling Gardens is the gem of the...

Darling Gardens is a very scenic and reasonably quiet park. It's a great spot for meeting because it is on several bus lines and is a stone's throw from Clifton Hill station, and another stone's throw from the tram lines on Queens Parade. It has a nice playground area. The only drawback is that the public toilets are quite far from the playground. But once that is surmounted it is a great place for a family get-together. Remember to bring your own...

Great place to walk your dog. One corner of the park has a children's playground and the opposing corner has BBQ and picinic tables. There are wonderful old trees scattered about the park (Two trees are on the national heritage register; a holm oak (quercus ilex) and an English elm (ulmus procera).) and most people and dogs are well behaved. Sadly the bins get stuffed full around public holidays. The gardens are named after Governor Sir...

Great new children's playground. Great place walk your dog, its an off-lead park, however it is not fenced. They are doing work on the park now, which may include a fenced area. Great place to get some excercise too. Great inner city park. Best of all its right near the main road (Queens Parade) which has many cafes if you need a refreshment. The cafe Rubber Duck, even lets you have your dog with you outside.

Lovely Park, the trees are amazing, there is also a playground and a Rotunda and very near the city Spring foliage was vivid green and plenty of birds in the trees, saw some rainbow lorikeets and others and a cheeky Magpie visited us too! Had a lovely picnic there to celebrate 25kms day!

This is a great park with a good-sized playground for kids. There is a rotunda in the middle and it is just generally beautifully maintained. My favourite time to visit is in the autumn. There are also a lot of picnic benches with BBQ units in the easter side of the park.
