Read moreWe recently celebrated my partner Jayden’s 40th birthday at The Terminus Hotel, and I can’t put into words how grateful we are for the incredible experience they gave us.
Jayden has been on a long and challenging road to recovery after a severe brain injury, and this milestone birthday was a chance to celebrate not just his life, but his incredible strength and resilience. The team at the Terminus went above and beyond to make the day truly special — their warmth, care, and attention to detail made all the difference.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly, creating a space where Jayden and our loved ones could relax, laugh, and enjoy the moment. The atmosphere was perfect — lively and full of heart, just like Jayden himself.
The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing, and every single person we interacted with was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making the day unforgettable. The team’s compassion and generosity didn’t just make for a great party; it reminded us how much community and kindness can lift you up during life’s toughest times.
The Terminus Hotel has been a big part of Jayden’s journey, and we’ll forever be thankful for the love and support they showed us during at trying time in our life. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, to gather, or just to share a meal with people you care about, this is the place to do it.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us create memories we’ll treasure forever.

It's not exactly what the guests wanted to hear after a highly delayed and prolonged public transport trip. Anyway, thankfully the situation was resolved.
My own arrival was marred by a bad fall upon arriving thanks to precision placement of a medium size heal (no, not a stilleto!) on an uneven surface under the fake turf which could've been much more serious than it was, due to the glass of wine shattering in my hand. Should've reported it but didn't, so fairly bruised, embarrassed and one red wine down already, lets move on to general things......
The place is pleasant and buzzy, and has a substantial capacity thanks to its marquee extension outside but I feel that area out the back lacks vibe and atmosphere, especially looking at other photos I've seen of how the side beer garden area can look. The pub itself is fairly modern and comfortable. Dishes were ordered for the masses but I found them ordinary - the pizza was one of the least enjoyable pizzas I can recall, being bland and way too short on topping. The calamari, hummus dip, gyoza, and fries with aioli were nice enough but no stand out. From the reviews here, this place appears to have merit and maybe I'll give it another go if ever in this neck of the woods again. If so, I think I'll just stick to the craft beer menu and...
