This day... Thursday March 7th 2024 @ exactly 10.20am. Who ever the supervisor/manager is on this day. Seriously needs to work on their customer service skills or find a new job! 🤬 Let's just say. I waited 10min in waiting bay for my order. Drove through drive thru again telling them I've been waiting for my order and haven't received it. Obviously they had forgotten it cause they had to ask me for my whole order again. So waited another 5mins for my order.. I requested fresh hash browns.. but received soggy, warm hash browns. Handed it back and said I asked for fresh can I have fresh please... They say they've just been pulled up they're fresh. I said NO there not, if they were fresh they would be crispy and burning hot to touch! Then they say... It will be about 3mins. I said no worries Il wait right here at the window. The first guy is like oh can you please wait in the waiting bay. I said No it's ok, I'll just stay here thanks. He goes, then a girl comes. Sorry can we please get you to wait in waiting bay its going to be a 3min wait (by now it's probably 2min wait) I said No Il wait here I've already been waiting in the waiting bay for 10mins, I can wait here thanks. She goes. Then another guy comes (supervisor/manager) he says... Sorry can I get you to the waiting bay, I have to serve next customer. I said sorry I'm waiting here for my order.. he tells me I'm being ridiculous holding up the drive thru line...Don't be like this, that's not fair he reckons. I said to him it's not fair having to wait over 15mins now for my order that youse forgot. And still be given soggy hash browns. I told him your service is ridiculous! He had the nerve to tell me well don't come back here! Go somewhere else. I said who are you to tell me to go somewhere else! Il wait here for the hash browns they're nearly ready. He keeps saying I'm ridiculous... like I'm in the wrong! By now I literally want to jab this guy in the face 🙄 Finally got handed my hash browns as is and not in a bag with a whole lot of attitude like I'm the problem.
Overall wait time was 20min for my order. But to be told I'm being ridiculous and unfair because I refuse to wait in waiting bay and choose to wait at the window for my hash browns that will take 3min to cook, knowing you damm well forgot my order and gave me soggy hash browns the first time. That is frikin...
Read moreMy recent experience was not good! Had a late night and decided to stop by McDonalds Craigieburn on my way home. Drive through was open and there were 6 cars ahead of me. Drive through also had a sign: Any lane, Any time. Well, it turned out this wasn't the case... after 10 minutes of queuing up, an employee showed up with few empty crates and blocked both lanes - behind my car. Soon after that, I was able to place my order. Cars ahead of me moved slowly and after almost one hour, I made it to the first window where I expected to pay. Another 15+ minutes no one showed up. In the meantime, the car ahead of me made it to the last window and I followed it. Over there, I found the same employee who placed the empty crates on the ground, blocking both drive through lanes. He explained that the drive through is closed and he cannot serve me. If drive through was closed, why did I have to wait for almost one hour, was my next question. He replied by saying he is short on stuff. He could not explain why it took almost one hour to clear all cars from the queue. I naturally asked to speak with his manager - it turns out he was the manager on shift ... From what I could tell, the car ahead of me didn't pick up their order , so it is reasonable to assume that no other car ahead of me got their orders either. To recap: Drive through a fast food shop in the middle of the night, had to wait almost one hour to be told they cannot serve me (or any of the cars ahead of me) ... This is really disappointing ... @McDonalds surely you can do better! I can understand drive through was closed however I don't understand why I had to queue up for one hour to be notified. I regret I cannot score zero stars but this is what this shop deserves! Not going back to this shop...
Read more“BYRON” I’m assuming who was the “manager” had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I went through drive thru and paid for my items but made the mistake of not getting a receipt. When I got to the second window to collect my food, there was an item missing. I advised then that there was an item missing and instead of apologising they blamed me and said I should have checked the screen and DEMANDED I drive around again and go to the back of the drive thru line to order that missing item that THEY forgot! There was already a long line behind me and I didn’t want to wait in line again for THEIR mistake. So I asked “BYRON” if I can pay CASH through the window. I know for a FACT that he could’ve easily taken the cash through the window and put my order through, but he was so stubborn and rude and demanded I either drive thru again or go inside and pay and slammed the window shut on my face! I felt bad for all the customers waiting in line behind me, so I parked up and went inside to pay. When I walked inside, he ran to the back to avoid me instead of speaking to me and apologising! He needs to get off his high horse and stop thinking he’s above everyone else just because he’s the manager of McDonald’s. There’s no wonder why he looks in his mid 30’s and still working there! as I wouldn’t even hire him to work for free! Luckily the nice girl inside who served me gave me his name so I can warn any future employers of him and he can stay in his McDonald’s job for the rest...
