WORST SERVICE EVER AND WORST FOOD Now I never order Mac Donald’s, but this night my husband and I just felt like something different.
I went through drive through to order only 2 fillets of fish & 1 hot apple pie. I asked if I could also have a free seniors soft drink? The girl said yes, so I ordered a Fanta.
The girl who served me never smiled never said thanks or gave me a receipt for my order either. She was the manager and her name was Nicki, I found out later when I asked as she didn’t have a name badge on.
I travelled from near Waverley Gardens as this store was the nearest that was open at this time.
When I got home the burgers were stale so I warned around after I rand and spoke to someone and they said to return them if I care to wait for the new ones while they cook them. When I got there I gave them the one I had and also asked the nice girl who served me if I could have compensation for my trip back because it was a very hot day.
I had to wait in the waiting bay whilst they cook fresh one. The manager saw the girl go to me a new drink and told her NO FREE DRINK as she made a gesture over her throat. Not the nice girls fault. I asked to speak to the manager who was the “original” one who served me. She came over and said “yes”.
I asked is there a reason why I’m unable to get a free drink considering it was your fault I had to return all this way to get a fresh fillet of fish. So surely a drinks not going to hurt? She offered a drink of water, which I kindly accepted. I said maybe next time your Fillet of Fishes should be fresh.
Her reply was…. When you drive through you should ask to have fresh ones cook!
I said “ beg your pardon am I hearing right? Everytime someone come through they have to ask for freshly cooked burgers? She said yes?
I asked her if she goes out to eat if she asks for fresh food to be cooked specifically everytime and she said… yes I do!
She was so rude the whole time. No customer service etiquette from her what so ever. No sorry about the fillets being stale and or you had to return nothing. I told her she should get an attitude adjustment. Then drove off to wait for my order.
Then to top it off, a car if front also noticed her attitude, as she said her son also noticed that the girl in the grey shirt looked very unhappy and to check his drink in case it was flat. Because I made comment I hope she asked for freshly cooked burgers food. Told her my story and she said… you shouldn’t have to ask it should be fresh all the time.
What I’m frustrated about is, all this over two fillets of fish and having to return because of poor workmanship and bad attitude from a manager who really looked like she didn’t want to be there. Nicky needs to pick her game up.
Shame when I thought Mc Donald had excellent staff and treated their customers well. If I could give Service a 0 I would...

I’m a regular coffee person passing through on most work days. I also have a regular coffee guy who makes my type of mochas perfectly and he is amazing! Knows I also order a baby chino and would ask when I wouldn’t order one, which I think is sweet. Other staff have also been pretty professional too.
However, as this is my go to maccas service is inconsistent and so is the maturity and behaviour or staff.
Just a couple of incidents:
Have had a few guys just mucking around while tending to the front counter, while people wait and those in the kitchen bust themselves to get orders out.
Just on this trip alone, took over 20 mins for our order. Lady was apologetic and poor thing was copping it from the customers. Order was wrong, ordered extra onions and they left it out instead. Sipped on my large coke and could tell it was diet or zero. Went to get it changed and was given a medium, meanwhile hearing the girl in the kitchen saying she didn’t care about the customers coz it’s not like she was going to see them again... honey a regular like me will.
This is a fairly new store... nice setting... can relax and watch my little one play safely.
Just disappointing when you do come in store it’s like you’re second class compared to drive thru customers. And staff are at a minimum because they have more self service machines.
I’ll still keep coming here over Noble Park coz of ambience and my coffee guy (even if I have to make a U turn! And even my workmate who hates maccas coffee actually liked the one from here), but wish rest of the service and staff behaviour would...
Read moreI ordered 2 small quarter pounder meals for $9 as part of the maccas 30 day deals. I wanted vanilla coke but that was unavailable so I was offered normal coke. At that stage, I'm quite used to Mcdonalds running out of items so I was fine about it. While I was waiting for my order, a man came up to the counter with a cheeseburger that had no meat inside it as well. The customer was really lax about it and laughed it off while a staff member apologised and went to get it remade. I was curious as to why there was only one staff member making the orders for both drive-thru and for dining in. Excuse my potentially poor perception of HR management as I don't know what was going on at this store. Who knows, someone could've been injured hence being understaffed. Unfortunately, both the burgers I ordered were missing onions and I didn't realise this until I got home. I feel terrible about this because the onions were what I was looking forward to in a quarter pounder. I basically just had a medium sized cheese burger that didn't feel worth my money . I don't have the energy to travel 10 minutes to get onions of the burgers so I'm writing this review at the comfort of my own home to make myself feel better about it. A positive take-away is that the one blonde girl behind the counter dealt with all of the issues quickly and apologised repeatedly. Poor girl! I am not blaming anyone in this review as I am simply expressing my disappointment...
