===Long rant incoming===
Pulled up to the drive-thru on the way home at around 00:10 Sat night/morning after a 12 hour shift and going to an event in the city.
Drive-thru staff was incompetent and didn't put through the full order (4 items) despite repeating what I asked for back to me. When I went to collect she started handing me two drinks to which both myself and the manager said it's just the one drink, pulled out to check the order and found that my double qtr pounder was a single and the cheeseburger was so drenched in grease that the bread was falling apart and the wrapper was soaked.
I went to the front of the building and knocked on the door and the manager was hesitant to come over but eventually come round and I told him what happened and I was asked to queue back up and they'll prepare a replacement double qtr pounder.
This was a huge mistake, because of how abysmally slow the staff were taking and preparing orders (oldest order I could see on the screen was at 18 minutes by this point), it took until about 00:45 before I received my food, and even then the burger looked like it was literally thrown together without any care (I was offered fresh but after half an hour I wasn't waiting longer).
I had work again early in the morning so I was extremely annoyed with the service. I used to manage a maccas about a decade ago, even on our busiest nights with comparable numbers of cars we never had this much trouble. It really seemed like the staff didn't give a damn (especially the chick on drive-thru) and the manager did not have control of his team.
Get your staff trained properly, cook more food than you need, trust me when I say you will make more money than you lose to waste, for the love of god get your grill staff to change their damn gloves often and seriously just fire slow staff, it's cheaper to have 2 good performers on shift than 3 or 4 underperformers, if they refuse to change their attitude, then get rid of them.

   Read moreWent in just after 1pm today, tried ordering via kiosk, but couldn't get restaurant code for app reward, so went to service counter, after being ignored 2 times by 2 different servers, was served and when explained she asked if my mobile data was working, couldn't help, or rather, didn't try. Placed order via phone app, yup, mobile data working fine, and app reward applied to mobile order without an issue, finished ordering and requesting delivery at table 104 that we had to figure out due to no number on table, and it seemed logical that since the table was between 103 and 105, it must be 104. Waited 15 minutes, I went to counter, ignored again, then told it was still not ready and they'd bring it. Waited another 10 minutes went back to counter, ignored again and told still getting done as they were busy, yet people after us were getting their food before us, and as well as drive through and food delivery services, at this time, i saw a bag and 2 drinks sitting on counter. Waited again, went up, ignored yet again, server went to look and couldn't find, I asked her to check the one sitting on the counter that was the one that was meant to have been delivered to my table as requested via my online order and had been there about 15 minutes. She went to give me the now cold food, then took it to apparently get fresh food after I pointed out it was cold. Waited further, went back to counter and ignored again. took my new drinks, then went back for the meal in the bag, hard to carry meal and drinks with a walking stick in 1 hand. Sat down and deciding, we were over waiting, decided to eat the luke warm meals. Still cleared our table when we finished. Left after over hour waiting from time we placed our order. Not impressed is just an understatement, but at least they got the order right ... when I got it....eventually.. Still figuring out how at 6ft tall I can't be seen when standing directly in...
   Read moreAbsolutely atrocious! I got at the drive thru and placed my order at 11.02 went to the payment window and waited behind a car who has having payment issues by the looks of it for 12mins. Then the car drove up and waited next to pickup window 3 mind you theres a drive way next to it hence when i got to the window i asked the islander girl if she can bring mg order of just a soft drink bottle out the payment window so i can drive out instead of waiting for the other 2 cars infront. I then waited 6mins at the payment window and another islander guy came and asked what i was waiting for i told him i already paid and the other lady said she is bringing it out. I waited another 4 mins and by this time the car infront drove out thru the driveway so i sped up to the next window. Seconds later the islander girl comes back opens her window and screams what was the point of asking me to bring out the other window if u come here? mind u i was waiting for 10mins and drove up after the car and i got aggressively attacked by the lady i then asked for the manager and she claimed shes the manager and then actioned her hand to throw the drink at me in my car but didnt end up throwing. So no my question is to the store manager if your management is like this working at the speed of a turtle spending 20mins for each car with order of a small drink wheres u labour money going to? I understand they are minimum wage workers doesnt mean they take 20mins for a drink? Mcdonalds KPI suggests 3 mins for each car and that what they are doing nevertheless attacking their customers like that? I request management to look into this and take immideate action for the Manager who was on shift at 11pm 4/07 it was a islander chick. Get your stuff...
