Mister Bianco in Kew is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates exquisite Italian cuisine. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance, service, and the warmth of the staff made us feel right at home. Chef Joe Vargetto has curated a menu that is both innovative and deeply rooted in Italian tradition. We started our culinary journey with the Sficione, which was a delightful combination of cime di rapa and provolone, and the Arancini alla Norma, with smoked eggplant and ricotta salata that was simply divine. The mains were a true highlight. The Hot Pork Belly, with its beautifully balanced cider sauce, was tender and flavorful. The Hand-rolled Cavatelli with Wagyu Bolognese was a standout dish—each bite was a perfect harmony of rich, savory flavors and the incredible texture of the cavatelli. The Roasted Duck Breast, paired with rhubarb and rainbow chard, was cooked to perfection, offering a delightful contrast of flavors. The Pan-seared Barramundi, accompanied by onion agrodolce, was another dish that exemplified the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to quality. Nicholas, the sommelier, recommended the perfect wines to accompany our meal, each one enhancing the flavors of the dishes and making our dining experience truly exceptional. Mister Bianco is more than just a meal; it's an experience that transports you to the heart of Italy, with dishes crafted with passion and precision. Chef Joe and his team have created something truly special, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Beautiful surroundings in a comfortable if slightly cozy venue. The wait staff was very friendly, but very French for some reason. Service was very quick, but that may be because we were pretty much the first people through the door for dinner. The food was quite good, especially the entree cured swordfish and the oysters. The swordfish was a surprisingly large portion, enough to be shared between three people comfortably. The tang of the salmon roe and the crisp fennel goving it zest, while the anchovy dressing tastes better than it sounds. The oysters were tiny gems compared to the usual pacific monsters, but exquisitely tasteful and complemented well by the pomegranate granita. Very refreshing on a summer evening. The squid ink linguine was definitely a highlight, the linguini perfectly done and the accompanying deep fried prawns crunchy and tasteful without being oily. Only critique is that portion size could do with improvement. The saffron tagliolini was equally good in it own way, the lobster tail and saffron giving it some beautiful flavours. Portion size was also noticeably larger than the linguine. Braised beef cheek was a little overcooked, but still extremely tender. Just not melt in your mouth tender. Dessert was the Sicilian doughnuts, served hot with some rather unusual rosemary honey. Great finish to the meal.

This latest review at the new Cotham Road location ... An impressive, very smart fit out ... such a shame sound absorbing panels were not considered during the transformation as, unfortunately, the restaurant is very noisy. Really loved our choice of dishes, great flavours and beautifully presented. Friendly, efficient staff. Well done Chef Joe and team! ................................................................................................. We finally made it to Mister Bianco, a Sicilian restaurant that has been on my dining wish list for some time now. Front of house, Alex and Maurizio (the knowledgable wine guy), looked after us impeccably on our journey through the Menu della Casa. The dishes and flavours were seriously impressive and the pasta, hand-made by legend pasta maker Alessia, was next level. It's lovely to dine in an environment where you feel the enthusiasm of the staff who are proud to present Mister Bianco, and so they should be! The entire experience was magnifico, grazie!

When we arrived at your new venue, we were met by a very nice young man, Anthony (!?). I hope, I remembered his name correctly! He made us feel, very welcome! He showed us around the new venue, and he explained the range of facilities Mister Bianco now offers. You have a very impressive new premises. Please say ‘Thank You’ to Anthony, for greeting us with a smiling face and making us feel so welcome. Mister Bianco Menu, had a very impressive range of wines to choose from. Excellent selection! Perfectly matched with all the delicious dishes on the menu! Great start to the evening! Thank you, Mister Bianco. We ordered Slow Cooked Veal & Pork Meat Balls in tomato sauce. They were delicious! Melted in your mouth! They were served nice and hot, at high temperature! There is nothing worse that Meat Balls served semi cold! You cut them up, only to reveal a cold core!?!? Not very nice! Cold Meat Balls, are not much fun! The Meat Balls served at Mister Bianco, were served nice and hot, and cooked all the way through! Very nice! The Salmon, with honey mustard, orange slices and radish was superb! A great combination! Well done! Honey Mustard is one of my favourite sauces! I often attempt to put one together myself! However, I can never get it right! Hah Hah Ha! Obviously, I am not a very good chef! The Mister Bianco honey mustard was just superb! Thank you, so much. What can we say about the Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu?……Mister Bianco knocked our socks off! The Potato Gnocchi was cooked to perfection! The Potatoes were cooked through, they were soft, and they were delectable! The Wagyu Beef Ragu, melted in our mouths! No shortcuts there! Mister Bianco served the very best of the beef! No gristles! No fatty bits! Just top quality beef! It was absolutely delicious! Thank you. With Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu……there was one more factor, that needs to be mentioned here! One more element, that made such a big positive difference, to our enjoyment of the evening! Brad! Bradley! I think that was his name! Bradley has to be congratulated for his Outstanding Client Service focus! The butter knife slid off the plate and landed on the floor! Bradley was immediately there to offer a clean new, butter knife! Great service! Thank you. When we ordered the Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu, we had a small request! We requested to share the Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu, in two separate plates! We did not wish to eat our Gnocchi, from one single plate! That is not us! We requested the meal to be served in two separate plates! We also requested that the Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu, should be served nice and hot, at high temperature! There is nothing worse than a semi cold Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu, served on a cold plate, on a cold Melbourne night! What happened next was eye watering! It was eye wateringly good! Bradley arrived, with two separate plates of Potato Gnocchi, Wagyu Beef Ragu dishes, to our table! The two plates were Piping Hot! The two meals were also Piping Hot! It was one of the most enjoyable meals, we ever had! Bradley excelled himself! Bradley listened and Bradley delivered! Please pass our sincere thanks, and deep gratitude to Bradley, for his amazing service. His total Client Focus, his dedication to his job, and his strong service ethics are commendable. Break his leg! Never let him escape! He has very hard to find, qualities! Bradley is a complete professional! Bradley has certainly taken Client Service, to great new heights! Thank you, Bradley. Again, please pass our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to Bradley. If you are able to share his full name with us, we shall make sure his name is included on our Christmas Card List. We certainly appreciate his Client Focus and his Outstanding Service. Have a good week everyone. See you...
