Mochi Melbourne is such a dream come true for those who crave mochi and all those hot soup desserts you may find in China or Taiwan. There are so many options to choose from ranging from Thai milk tea mochi to black sesame soup. There was just so much options to choose from and there also was free shaved ice provided with your bowl of you wanted some Just make sure not to get too carried away with all the variety in desserts and end up ordering over $30 worth of Mochi 😅 (if you are in a tight budget) The staff were really kind constantly making new desserts so other customers can fill their bowl up as well as kindly giving take away lids for those who could not finish their bowl ( that was me) Overall Mochi Melbourne is such a good place to be visiting if you are craving desserts and is a must try!!!

Mochi!!!!! Finally got to try this place! After seeing it on insta for like 5 months and they have progressed from a semi- secret place to now all over insta! What I love about this place is that you get to pick and choose what you want (or what you want to try) and then you pay by the weight. After you pay, you get to add shaved ice and the sugar syrup so it’s not actually added to the weight of what you have selected. That also means you can (somewhat) control your sugar intake- I said somewhat because I am under no illusions that these desserts didn’t have added sugar, but if you want stuff to be sweeter, you can add more syrup to it. What would have been great is some suggested combos- I have nfi what goes with what so some inspo would be great.

A mochi-lover's dream! The wide-range of flavours and textures will make anyone fall in love this place. You pay by weight, and reminds of Meet Fresh but without the ice. I tried a little bit of everything (how can you not ! :) and every mochi is unique and delicious. Mochis were bouncy, chewy and subtly sweet. My personal favorites are: Sesame, taro (all types), and pumpkin :) You can either eat mochi by itself or mix it with different flavoured milk-teas (like a customised boba in a bowl). Service was friendly, and overall a creative way to lure mochi lovers. Definitely would make it my go-to dessert place ! :)
