Motorina Pizzeria — Restaurant in Melbourne

Would recommend, particularly for families with kids.

Went to Motorina with my family who has 4 kids. We had a few pizzas and the roast mushroom special. The pizza base was good, pretty thin and crisp. Toppings could have been more cooked on some of the pizzas (pumpkin and ham) but overall a 4 for the food experience.

What made this a 5 star review was the restaurant experience itself. The owner (I think) was amazing and accommodating. The kids all get their own pizza dough upon arrival to make their own small pizzas which later become their dessert pizzas. The kids loved this and it enhanced the entire experience for everyone.

The food came out in a good amount of time and the price for the group was very reasonable. So, experience overall a 6 out of 5 which is why Morotina earned a 5 star review. Thanks for a great meal and night...

Fantastic pizzas, delicious and creative. Atmosphere is perfect, it's trendy, welcoming and stylish.

Only problem is that as a small restaurant (which I think is part of the charm), it can get pretty crowded, particularly on weekends, so ordering delivered or take-away is a better option if time is a pressing concern. As a longtime fan of crust pizzas, I've been converted to Motorino, they are smaller but fresher tasting, have better bases, it does help that it's much closer to my home than crust too.

Highly recommended, the Italian restaurant over the street on Glenhuntley Road is also really good if there's not room in...

I almost didn’t bother writing this review but had to do it. I know some people like pizza well cooked and some not, but when you advertise a Margherita pizza that looks like it does in the Motorina menu, nice big blobs of creamy mozzarella and a moist tomato Sugo, then receive a way over cooked cheese pizza with the remnants of dried and burnt tomato, you have to wonder how they let it out of the kitchen at all.
