I had heard a lot about Mr. Crumb cafe, so I decided to give it a try. Mr. Crumb is an authentic Indian cafe that brings the delicious flavors of Indian snacks to its customers. What sets this cafe apart is its dedication to being completely vegetarian, offering a delightful array of vegetarian dishes. Upon visiting, I was impressed to learn that Mr. Crumb bakes its own eggless cakes, biscuits, and bread, including the popular pav and kulcha, reminiscent of the streets of Delhi. For starters, we ordered the spring rolls, which were reminiscent of the flavors found in the northern part of India. The Vada pav, a popular dish from Bombay, was also quite satisfying. Moving on to the main course, we tried the Bombay masala sandwich, which was decent, although it could benefit from a bit more spice. However, the Paneer tikka roll was a highlight of the meal, as its flavors were truly delightful. Additionally, the Nutri kulcha brought back memories of the soft and flavorsome kulchas from Delhi. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a cup of chai and a chocolate milkshake, both of which were refreshing and well-made. In conclusion, I highly recommend a visit to Mr. Crumb cafe for anyone seeking authentic Indian flavors in a vegetarian setting. The delightful snacks, flavorful dishes, and warm ambiance make it a must-visit destination.

Mr. Crumb is a bakery and cafe just next to Hoppers rail station. Telling you just in case you miss it! Enter Mr. Crumb and you are in for a surprise. This bakery is spacious. Plus it doesn't tease your nostrils, so you control your appetite! A tad dark interiors (lopsided lighting), displays starting at half the real estate leading to bright far end where the action is. There's Punjabi music to enliven your mood. What's on menu? Cakes. The variety on them. Choc hazelnut, blueberry, mango n a exotic one with gulab jamun. Hmm. They do custom orders too, I reckon. There was a beautiful sky blue cake bejeweled with age n edible pearly stuff (see pic). They have another counter serving Indian sweets, savories and cookies tightly packed into jars. Breads are for sale too! Takeaway only? nah, there is ample seating, reckon 10-12 tables. ideal for a family's and friends get together. The only grouse is that you need to walk upto the counter to place or get your order. Wish there was a table service. Overall Mr Crumb is a nice cozy place to enjoy your snacks, have a nice chat n watch the trains go by. Or if you get active then lift up your arms and go "Balle Balle!!" PS: Mr Crumb serves only Vegetarian fare. Verdict: Food: 3/5 Ambience: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Wait time: 3/5 (1 being least wait time) Overall:4/5

This 2 months old newly established vegetarian bakery is located at the end of the shops. The colourful sliced cakes and fresh pastry were look so great. The birthday cake is $40 and is good size for 4 people or more. The Cherry Danish 🍒 was nice fluffy pastry with beautiful natural touch of sweetness. No sour or no sugary, no preservative taste and pure fresh made cherry Danish😋 The strong long black (I think Columbian brend) had a great medium roasted aroma and freshly grainded coffee. It was flavourful and I really enjoyed it👍 I bought 6 different flavours of slices for small family but the each slice is actually a generous large size unlike at inner city's cafe's cake. I'm sure the taste would be awesome 👌 Flavours of cake are: blueberry, Strawberry, mango, pistachio, Indian spices Las Malai, chocolate cream, black forest, chocolate layered and few types of cheese cake, red Velvet and many more😋 Their freshly made birthday cake order to be 2 days in advance. I'll get a cake when we are freely allowed to have a party in the future 🥳

I placed an order from Mr. Crumbs worth approximately $130, which was supposed to include a Gulab Jamun pastry. Upon delivery, I noticed the pastry was missing. I immediately contacted the restaurant and was told that it had already been included in the order. When I explained I hadn’t received it, I was asked to contact the Uber Eats driver.

The delivery driver confirmed he only received one bag from the restaurant and did not receive any pastry or additional items. He also confirmed there was no receipt included.

I contacted the restaurant to resolve the issue. A staff member initially told me to wait for the manager, but then another employee began speaking in Hindi and dismissed my concerns. When I mentioned I would be leaving a review to share my experience, she responded rudely and accused me of threatening her—which I absolutely did not. Stating my right to leave a factual review is not a threat.

As a paying customer, I find this experience extremely disappointing. Not only was I denied an item I paid for, but I was also treated disrespectfully when I tried to seek a fair resolution. Being spoken to rudely, misinformed, and made to feel as though I was in the wrong for raising a genuine concern is completely unacceptable.

This review is not intended to defame the business but to highlight a customer service issue that should be addressed. Every customer deserves to receive what they paid for and to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism when...

Mr. Crumb is our family's go-to cafe whenever we crave a delicious and satisfying meal. Located next to a beautiful park, it offers a delightful experience.

Their veg burger is hands down one of the best we've ever tasted. The patty is perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor, making every bite a delightful experience. Vada pao and paneer kulcha are also exceptional, delivering authentic and mouthwatering tastes that keep us coming back for more.

For the kids, Mr. Crumb's aloo patties are a huge hit. They are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with potato goodness. The variety of Maggie variations available are always a treat too..

One of the highlights of visiting Mr. Crumb is its location next to the park. Our kids can enjoy playing and exploring while we savor our meals, creating a perfect balance of relaxation and enjoyment.

And let's not forget about their kullad chai—it's simply divine! Served in traditional clay cups, the aroma and taste transport you to a cozy tea stall. It's the perfect accompaniment to any meal, offering warmth and refreshment.

The service at Mr. Crumb is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who always make us feel welcome. The owners are so welcoming and always up for a chat too :) The cafe itself has such a, cute, cozy and inviting ambiance.

Don't miss out on this...
