Having a Deja vu moment as this could be for any Red Rooster now seemingly. My last four meals from Red Rooster have been so disappointing from Altona, Box Hill Nth and tonight Hoppers Crossing. Ordered on line which saves no time really as you confirm it when you arrive and your order is prepared then. Just as easy to order over the counter really. Service was friendly but slow, chips sat in bag for a while before burgers were done so they were stone cold and once again the portion size of the fried chicken was pathetic. I had mentioned our previous disappointment tonight and staff member did advise she had given me a leg but could replace it with a bigger piece. I didn't make her change it over, I would have liked to have been given a decent piece in the first place! Anyway, tonight's order had a tiny little drumette, cold chips and burger, gravy with virtually no potato and store was out of stock of one of the ordered drinks. I changed stores hoping for better than previous few orders, found the counter staff friendly but the food was again undersized, cold and just disappointing overall. I really don't want standard pro forma apologies, generic complaint forms and offers of a free piece of chicken or the like. Read moreBought a burger box here last week with 4 rooster rolls nuggets chips and bought a 10 pack of the butter milk wings. Very disappointed with the quality of food the rooster rolls buns felt stale and there was only a little sauce in them which is the main reason we buy them. The nuggets and the chicken pieces were over cooked and really dry and the chips had no salt who likes chips with no salt. I tried to ring store couple of times that night but no one answered so I left a message on their machine to call me back. When I didn't hear from them by following night I decided to give them a call. I spoke to manager named Shayden and he told me that everything was cooked fresh and that he would give me 20% off my order next time. I told him that wasn't good enough and I wanted the meal replaced as it didn't really get eaten. He told me no and was very rude and hung up on me. We buy food there every 2nd week and always spend over $70 and usually the food is ok. I won't be coming back to this store and give them my money as they don't appreciate feedback and their regular customers. Absolutely disappointed with this new manager.

Read moreTerrible delivery service. Ordered at 6.24PM , got here well over an hour later. Sealed bag felt light when handed over, so I opened it up before the driver left for confirmation. Order was for 2 x Rooster rolls, nuggets chips etc. Guess what was missing? the 2 x Rooster rolls @ $23.90? How incompetent is the person who packed this? Thats like missing the Big Macs from a Big Mac meal order! Rang and spoke to someone there after 5 tries, and they confirmed only one bag was made up (which is the one I received) so the error lays squarely at the store worker who packed this bag. So now Im left with peripheral stuff I didnt really want, the rolls were the meal that never arrived, well, seems were never made up? Thanks a lot for the +1 hour wait and this rubbish (and I know RR isnt packed.... ever) Terrible.
