These guys should consider having proper systems in place and training their employees for more than 2 minutes (not that they probably don't even get minimum wage anyways). Everytime we have ordered on a somewhat busy night, the order has something wrong (ingredients, time estimate), we would honestly rather wait 5 more minutes than having to screw around for at least half an hour for only mediocre and now highly priced pizzas... I don't understand how mass amounts of menus can be printed out with a mistake on it, just shows these people prefer quantity over quality, especially dealing with food it is just disgusting, reading from previous reviews, people actually get sick and need to go to the hospital only proves my point. A plus side at least is that anyone with arms and legs can open a business to not have any initiative and still stay afloat. We don't expect perfection but at least get something right or just learn from mistakes which it seems like they achieve over and over again, seeing first-hand people getting frustrated and wasting their time in-store. I don’t understand why some people are rating this place highly, the food is terrible. Pizza base tasted really weird, hard and floury and sweet, similar to a store bought pizza base. Toppings were bland as well, it tasted like a frozen mccains pizza. Finally the service was really poor, kid on the phone kept repeating the order back wrong then asked us if we wanted the garlic pizza instead of the garlic bread in our deal to which we said yes then we went to pick up our order and they hadn’t made a garlic anything. I could understand if they made the garlic bread instead, but don’t know how they didn’t make anything since the deal comes with garlic bread, or the pizza for an additional few dollars. The cook said it would only be 5 minutes to make it so we said ok, but it was 20 minutes all the while our pizzas were getting cold as they were already ready when we came in. This is the best pizza place in Pakenham. I have tried a number of others and used to be a fan of Amalfi, but since Jessie's Pizza closed down a few years ago, this has become the new favourite. Other pizza places absolutely cover the pizza in cheese to the point you barely taste the other ingredients, or have dry or salty bases, use sub-par ingredients, or just have atrocious service. I love that when you call to place an order, they can look up a previous order tied to your mobile and you can re-order a favourite - saves so much time! The staff are always friendly, and no issues hearing each other on the phone like most other fast food joints. I've ordered from here A LOT, and only once has the order not been quite right, but every other time they hit the nail on the head. The 1-Star reviews almost are unbelievable as I have never had an experience like they mention, with the exception of parmas and pasta that I don't order, it makes you wonder if some are from...
