Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Melbourne

My son Nik ordered from Pizza Hut Pakenham on 11th Mar 2022. He placed the takeaway order on the phone via the main Pizza Hut number 13 11 66. The lady on the phone said that the order was placed successfully and so was the payment. She told my son that she had communicated and passed on the order to the store. When I went there to pick up the order, the franchise owner Amrit was adamant that there was no order under the name Nik. Not only did I provide the name that the order was under, but I also gave the order number "5721bfaa" provided by Pizza Hut on the phone. Amrit went on to state that they do not follow protocols via order numbers. I was left without food and $50 taken out of my son's bank account. I came back home and my son rang up Pizza Hut again, they mentioned that they had already passed on the order to the Pakenham store but would request to call my son back in 2 minutes which they did. Amrit called my son and said yes indeed there is an order here under your name. I then drove back all the way to pick up the cold food and received horrible customer service again from Amrit. He yelled at me again and said we do not follow order numbers. After receiving the cold food and receipt, I checked the receipt, and it had the order number on it the entire time. Waited 3 hours for delivery at 6:45pm went into the store as all attempts to reach them had been failing, went into store was advised all delivery orders are not being made, asked for refund and was REFUSED they took my details and said they will refund ASAP… what if this was a treat for a low income family... have been advised I will have to wait 3 days (5 days due to weekend) for a refund after an investigation is done by management, this borders on illegal activity... safe to say avoid this store its shocking.

Edit: nice of them to respond but it’s now Tuesday and we have called the hotline still no refund, still waiting for a call back, no notification on whether we had a pizza ready prior to visiting the store, which we then where told we are just not making those.

come on this is not a small pizza place this is a chain like a Mac Donald’s this should be unheard of, safe to say Pizza Hut lost a few long time...

I ordered paneer pizza . I strictly ask them not to put the onion and garlic.I picked up them at 8pm . When I bring them home I found the Pizza was full on onion. I called them first time put me on hold for 13 minutes and then hanged up . I called them second time they picked up after 15 minutes . I explained the manager the issue with pizza . I said take the pizza back and give me the money back of that pizza since it’s already 9:30pm . It’s time to sleep. He said he won’t give money back you can do whatever you want !!! What kind of service and language do you use to your customers !!! Shame on you !! I have never heard this kind of language to the customers !! It’s not the matter of money . I don’t want it . But the way you talk was so rude . I will take this further ....
