Pakenham Racecourse Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

I haven’t been here before and thought I’d give it a try, I gotta say I was glad I did. First of all the young man who served me was polite and very friendly and I’ll tell you what he knows his way around that grill. Probably the best burger with the lot I’ve had in a long time, juicy, fresh and he even asked if I would like my egg cooked all the way through or a little runny, I got a little runny and it was on point. The flake was amazing and the dim sims, potato cakes and chips were all crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. 5 well earned stars and I will 100% be back here from now on....

I was so disappointed. It was me and my mothers first time there and that will be our last. We walked in and they seemed like nice people and they were. We ordered a lunch pack and a sausage and 3 drinks and it all came out to around 36 ish dollars. We got our food and the portion looked very small but we though nothing of it and went to eat with my family. We opened it up and was shocked. We also ordered here while the owner was on holidays. The website was left open for orders and nothing to say they were away until we arrived to collect our order from the shop. Our money has been taken. My partner went down to the shop twice to get our money refunded or to get the food but the owner barely speaks English and refused to help us. We even got a Mandarin speaking family member to call and sort it out but that didn’t help. He just refuses to help, doesn’t know how to use his own ordering...
