Nando's Caroline Springs — Restaurant in Melbourne

My friends and I decided to have dinner at this particular nandos but we knew we were a lot of people and we didn’t wanna stress the employees because we knew there was a lot of us. We went to the place before hand and told them that we wanted to reserve a table for a certain number of seats at 7.30pm even though we knew you don’t need to make reservations for nandos but we didn’t anyway because there was a lot of us and we didn’t it just incase it was busy. When we came at the reserved time there was no seats everything was taken. We thought it was fine we can wait a little while until a table clears up and when my friend tried speaking to one of the employees (or manager I’m not so sure) she was told “can’t you see I’m busy?” In a rude manner we waited a few minutes then we left. Keep in mind we waited outside the store to make sure we didn’t cause any disruption while we waited for our friend to speak to an employee about the manner and get us seated or just give us a time for us to be waiting, we would’ve been totally fine with waiting for whatever time they told us but the way they treated my friend made us take our...

The store was clean and the staff friendly. Ordered the mediterranean salad with halloumi and chips (which I usually get at another location). There were hardly any greens in the salad, and so many blobs of the whipped feta that it overpowered the entire salad. It was good but I’ve definitely had better. The girl serving came to our table mid meal with a QR code asking us to please scan and leave a review. I told her I would happily leave a review but not now. She argued that I couldn’t leave a review without the QR code. I told her that I could and that I do it all the time. She was persistent, so I changed my tone and I think she got the message and went away. This was a day out with my daughter who I hardly ever get to spend any time with and we were mid conversation, so I didn’t appreciate the interruption. Her persistence seemed very rude. Came here on a holiday with my family around 2 weeks ago, and the kids felt like having Nando's so we decided to come here instead of the other store nearby at another shopping centre. I had left my wallet in the car, but the boy on duty (I believe his name was Nick as the manager on duty addressed him when requesting to the meals out) promptly seated the family and calmly said the bill can be settled later as well. Nick was very quick to realize we hadn't ordered drinks and brought us some tap water and cups. Not only the customer service but the food was cooked to perfection and the manager on duty had an eye out to ensure everything was going smoothly. Excellent service once again and I would recommend to anyone. The kids were extremely happy with the colouring kits and balloons they received.
