Nando's has typically been a reliable choice for me and my family in the past, but Sunday afternoon visit was disappointing. When the meal arrived, I found that the chips were not hot but cold and stale. I called for the staff member, and had replaced them. However, despite consistently ordering their coleslaw salad on all our visits, as it is a highlight, today the mayo dressing tasted more like the sour cream recipe they use to accompany their peri-peri flame grilled broccolini, which is a new menu item I have tried.
The trainee server's superior approached to address my coleslaw dressing issue, but her rude customer service manner and dismissive attitude escalated into a heated argument. She insisted it was mayo, while I maintained it tasted like sour cream. This poor handling of a valid and legitimate complaint, especially when my dining companion also confirmed the difference in today's coleslaw dressing, was highly frustrating. The manager attempted to address the coleslaw dressing issue, but his efforts fell short. Opting for the spicy rice instead, I found it to be a poor substitute to my always go-to menu item. Read more🙊 waiting on a bag of chips out of 3 while the rest of my order was waiting on the bench for over 10 minutes. Then the rest of my order was done. I had ask why was l waiting over 10 minutes for a bag of chips while other's whr been done walking out the door with fresh cooked chips. I was told by the manager they don't go by when the orders are taken. I had asked for fresh cooked food. Since l had chicken + an a wrap Sitting around getting cold. I had then been asked if l would like fresh cooked food just over 3 minutes. That gets you thinking doesn't it. 3 minutes cooking a fresh order🤔. I went home with fresh cooked chicken only to find out that l received 4 bags of chips Not 3. No 4 chicken tenders piece's that l paid for. I had taken photo as proof an went back to Nandos an showed them how they really cared about my order. So l waited for 4 pieces of chicken. I then was told by staff they had given me 8 pieces for been sorry for the inconvenience. Don't you think that it's to late to say Sorry for the Inconvenience it had caused. This is ashamed, i used to work at nandos as a manager so i know the standard for the staff at nandos supposed to be. I ordered couple of food at nandos that worth almost $50, the lady name Roja took the order and not even repeating the order too me and gave the atmosphere where she got all of my order.
I asked her 3 little sauce tub but she said to me ‘we only have two at the store’ (oh please choose a better lie—— i know you have that kind of tubs a lot- or just tell me nicely if you only want to give me 2 instead of 3, i believe three tubs still acceptable for almost $50 order-
AND. I saw her packing up the order while she also checking her phone quietly (you can check your cctv)- an OFC my order is missing. AND WRONG!
The fact that today is public holiday when we need to pay extra for public holiday rate -and its not a busy time when im coming in (she only took one physical order for me-there is no anyone else after me so i expected she needs to be careful or at lease repeat the order after me if she is unsure.
Please train her better or i can just easily email the head office as i still have...
