I've walked past this place often for many years now but today finally decided to drop in.

Bigger than I'd thought from the outside but with a jovial, welcoming atmosphere.

Very friendly staff and although the noise levels are high thanks to everyone else here, that's likely the same of every cafe about this time. Plenty of outdoor seating though so I might do that next time!

I rate this place highly right away thanks to them having a sandwich bar. I can count on one hand the amount of places that do sandwiches to order and it's a real shame. Subway is overpriced, sugary rubbish so it hardly counts. This place has a great selection of fresh breads and ingredients. Ordering is easy. First time I've had chicken poached just for my sandwich! Bit of a wait but it was worth it.

The oat milk mocha I had was delicious and creamy too. Very pleased.

I can highly recommend this place. I'll definitely return.

Update: the menu has changed, and last I checked the sandwich bar doesn't exist anymore. My main draw: gone. Sad.

Still, tasty...

This is a sound place. An easy 4 out of 5. It’s a lovely buzzy little cafe in the commercial area of Mornington. There are warehouses, factory outlets etc all around it. We’d just been to the very good Made in Japan outlet nearby, and up popped this cafe so we just had to visit.

It’s a clean, comfortable and well ordered cafe with good inside and outside areas. The wood panelling inside gives the place a warm feel too. The medium coffee and egg and bacon roll, the $9.50 special, took our eye today. The roll was good. A terrifically fresh toasted sesame seed roll. It was fresh as. A decent size as well and piping hot with an egg and two slices of good bacon. Well cooked. Simple but nicely presented. We enjoyed one each.

The food to go looked really good too. The coffee was a tidy one too. Well up to the mark. Service was amiable throughout too from multiple servers and engagingly efficient.

I agree with a previous comment. This place is trendy and good without any hipster snobbery. A good place and we’d happily...

A very awkward meal....

After asking if it was possible that we could only get take away food as their closing time said 2pm and it was approx 1:45 they said "no we close at 3". Moments after sitting down and going up to order food they started to pack up the restaurant around us. Chairs and tables being stacked, pot plants and furniture being wheeled in from outside and even mopping and wet floor signs being placed out. By this time the only other people in the place left and then when food was brought out, things were missing...

Felt like a very rushed and unrelaxing meal and not the first time things have been forgotten.

From somebody who used to work in hospitality, you pack up when the people leave or when you want then too.

Did not feel welcome at all and...

I was in the market for a new café spot that wasn't too bustling with heavy traffic. I stumbled across thirteen83 and loved in layout and open space, great menu and positive feedback. Google didn't let me down, staff were excellent, picked our own table and were started with coffees within minutes. Lots of great menu options, healthy vibe of both breakfast and lunch selections. Smoothies and takeaway options too. Great spot.
