The shop survives by employing staff that are part of a work integrated training programme (except for management). Understandably, the service and food quality vary dramatically. The layout of the floor is rather awkward with a few old tables scattered around the front section and a ginormous oversized open commercial kitchen occupying the back. The menu, service, and quality are incredibly inconsistent. The menu changes frequently from a la carte, cabinet only, or both depending on what staff are available. I've supported this cafe for three years as it's close by. However, my most recent experience had me pay $15.50 for a bacon and egg wrap ordered from the display cabinet and a $5.50 muffin.
