Only Mine - Olinda — Restaurant in Melbourne

Have been here once before and had a good experience. But today, I came in with four other adults, and was told that we were not allowed to use the indoor seating, despite the fact that all outside seating was already taken. This was 55 minutes before closing time, and frankly screams of staff who are simply too lazy and unwilling to clean tables and/or incompetent.

As a result, I chose not to order a drink or purchase any chocolates because I simply won’t support businesses who won’t support its customers by providing them a place to have their ordered drinks.

So many other places to try that offer good customer service. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anybody else either.

Addendum: still within the area of the shop, and some people have walked out of the place at 4:33PM saying that the place isn’t serving drinks anymore because they’re closed. Sign on the window says “Open 7 Days, 10:00AM-5:00PM”. Date of review: 28-Dec-2023.

Clearly, the staff are lazy. If I were the manager, it might be worthwhile replacing your staff as they’re not doing you...

A friend and I came here not long after it opened. We were very let down as upon entry it felt unwelcoming, with a cold and empty atmosphere. The stock available for take home purchase was minimal. And the factory aspect of it was seeing some machinery through a glass window, nothing was operating that we could see. We didn't stay but I did buy a block of chocolate from their limited range, which was nice enough but not memorable. Had no interest whatsoever in returning. However, recently another friend suggested we go there for a drink while we waited for RACV. Only outside seating was available this time. But inside still had a sterile, cold unwelcoming feel and again few options of chocolate bars to buy. Decent range of truffles though. This time there was someone operating something in the 'factory'. I ordered an iced chocolate which was good. The staff member was not unfriendly but wasn't at all engaging. From other reviews I have read many people love their chocolate and that's great - support local businesses where you can. But my experiences won't be rushing me back...

it reminded me of a pub meal except for the number taking...our order was announced so we got up off our table, which had am amazing view of garbage bins🗑 and the back carpark, then back to our table - the coffee was terrible so we had no choice but to not drink them.

the x2 chocolates were delicious and over priced @$3.80 each

the waffles were delicious, but we had to be careful not to capsize the food as the dish it was served in was way too small, the cake was delicious 😋

it's not the fault of the young girl that served us either...she would have been no older than 16

when we finished we even had to pick up all of the left over food and dishes and dispose them ourselves

all in all everything was overpriced and the atmosphere was lacking, not worth the price we paid...did I mention the coffee ☕️ 🤮

no we won't be coming back and no I would not recommend this...
