Everything on their menu is a carefully curated product of passion, and it just so happens the three proprietor's enthusiasms encompass food (excellent steak frites and cheeses), spirits (Chris is the martini maestro of Melbourne), beer (rotating taps of local crafts) and of course foremost - wine. The result is confidence in everything you order. In times of uncertainty, recommendations are delivered with keen acuity. Time is taken to understand their customers taste, and information & advice are shared as readily as one is willing to absorb.

The customer selected rotation of wines by the glass that supplements their formal menu provides a fantastic opportunity to try something you otherwise might not have access to. Free wine tastings, trivia, and the ever frustrating mystery wines provide too many excuses to visit again....and again.

The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, and the highlight was definitely the bar staff. Aaron, James, and Chris are true professionals with extensive knowledge of wines from around the world. Their expert recommendations made navigating the menu a breeze and truly enhanced our evening.

We started with a charcuterie board, which paired perfectly with the wine they suggested. The chips and lasagna were also delicious, rounding out a delightful meal. And I have to say, the Negroni is a must-try—highly recommended!

I also loved that we visited on a Wednesday night when they host a free wine tasting with a winemaker upstairs. At the bar, they offer a wide variety of Coravin pours, which I’m definitely going to try next time. It’s a fantastic way to experience different wines!
