If you're looking for an authentic and flavorful experience of Nepalese cuisine in Werribee, Pans on Fire is a hidden gem that should be on your radar. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff eager to introduce you to the world of Nepalese flavors.

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Nepalese dishes, each bursting with rich, aromatic spices. Whether you're a fan of momo (Nepalese dumplings), or their incredible goat curry, every dish seems to be prepared with love and attention to detail. The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are authentic. For spice lovers, the heat levels are spot-on, but they are also accommodating for those who prefer a milder palate. The use of fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods really shines through.

Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service is friendly and attentive. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations for those unfamiliar with Nepalese cuisine. While the food may take a little time to arrive, it’s worth the wait, as everything is cooked fresh.

A Memorable Nepalese Dining Experience at Pans on Fire

Our recent visit to Pans on Fire in Werribee was a delightful culinary journey into authentic Nepalese cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for an exceptional evening.

We began with the Masala Tea and Lemon Tea, both brewed to perfection. The Masala Tea offered a rich blend of spices that was both comforting and invigorating, while the Lemon Tea provided a refreshing citrusy note, cleansing the palate for the feast ahead.

The Chicken Chili was a standout appetizer, delivering a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The chicken was tender, and the spices were robust without being overwhelming. Following that, the Chicken Chopsy impressed us with its crispy texture and savory taste, showcasing the chef's expertise in blending traditional flavors with a modern twist.

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Momo Sizzler and Steam Momo. The sizzler arrived at our table with an enticing aroma and a sizzling presentation that heightened our anticipation. Each momo was filled with succulent meat and seasoned with authentic Nepalese spices, offering a burst of flavor in every bite. The Steam Momo, on the other hand, were delicate and light, yet equally flavorful, demonstrating the restaurant's mastery in preparing this traditional dish.

Throughout our meal, the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to provide recommendations added a personal touch that enhanced our evening.

Pans on Fire not only delivers on taste but also offers a genuine glimpse into Nepalese hospitality and culinary tradition. For anyone seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience in Werribee, this restaurant is a must-visit. We left with satisfied appetites and a newfound appreciation for...

My heart goes out as I found this hidden gem serving one of my favourite cuisines and should be a definite lockdown takeaway as the lockdown is extended.

@pansonfire2021 Located on Synnot street, in the heart of Werribee, Pans on fire is serving some great piping hot Nepalese Cuisine. To visit to this elegant restaurant is to indulge your senses and take a culinary tour of Nepal and South Asia. On the menu you will find familiar Indian favourites given a Himalayan twist, as well Nepalese specialities such as Different styles of Momos(Nepalese dumplings and Thukpa(Nepalese Ramen) .

The food here is predominantly Nepalese made with herbs and spices that will surely please your palette.

Born on the streets of Kathmandu, momos, steamed dumplings filled with meat or vegetables, along with various authentic dishes and Baramundi fish curry, a traditional Nepalese curry, are the most popular dishes at the restaurant.

You can even try some staple dinner sets here,

These will be in large platters, with five or six cups on each. With Beaten rice, lamb choila, cucumber salad, black eye beans, lentil pancake, black beans, egg and spicy potato. Known as large plate called thali which contains several smaller plates that serve lentils, chicken or lamb, vegetables, pickles and a dessert. The rice is placed in the centre of the thali with the other plates surrounding the rice.

I’d recommend this a lot, it’s a great way to experience Nepalese food. They are still expanding the menu, and bringing on more of the sharing...
