Visited last night, Thursday. Was super excited to try this new restaurant, as it has some highly-spoken reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was not what I was expecting, and it was definitely a little disappointing. Sadly, our chips arrived cold and half empty (quite literally). We were quick to return them, and were given fresh, full chips, however, those chips were unseasoned and were not very appetizing. Thankfully, we had a dipping sauce to go with the chips, which we had to ask for after receiving our food - the sauce must have been forgotten, easy mistake. I ordered the BBQ wings and was excited for them, though was quickly let down after finding out they were infact spicy wings. The wings arrived just above room temperature, as with the chips, which indicated they must have sat around while the burgers were cooked. Don't get me wrong, I love spice, however, when I come to a new restaurant, I want to be able to experience the flavors, and I don't want the spice to inhibit this. Sadly, the spice overpowered everything, and when I got to my burger, that was a huge letdown. The sauce on the burger wasn't the greatest, and I feel that it didn't complement the burger well, though this is more personal preference than anything, as I'm sure there are people out there that love the sauce! What was a letdown was the "Angus" patty was extremely bland and dry, I think a little bit of salt and pepper would've made the meat pop a little more. I'm not sure what the bacon was, or if it was even bacon, though it wasn't very tasteful and didn't pop - McDonald's bacon has more flavor to it than this bacon. Maybe it was just our luck? Overall, my partner was happy with her vege/vegan burger, though I don't think for the money spent, I probably wouldn't come back as it's not my cup of tea and the flavors weren't that great when compared to other burger joints. The staff were attentive and friendly, and I believe the owner or manager was there with his headset on - he was a top, and friendly bloke, though that doesn't make the food taste...
Read moreWe’ve been regular customers at this shop for a long time because of the consistently delicious food and the excellent service - especially from the gentleman we believe is the owner. He is always kind, respectful, and welcoming, which is why our whole family enjoys coming here.
However, during our visit tonight we had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members. The shop was a bit busy, and a polite young man approached us to take our order. As we were placing it, a young Indian woman interrupted and told us, in a rather harsh tone, that the wait time might be 15 to 20 minutes. We responded kindly, saying we were happy to wait.
But then she added — again in a rude manner — “Just to let you know, it’s only half chicken inside the burger, not full.” We found this unnecessary and condescending, especially since we’ve ordered the same item many times and are well aware of what it contains. Her tone and attitude made us feel as though she didn’t want to serve us.
I told her, “If you’re too busy and don’t want to serve us, we can leave.” She replied rudely, we say this to all costumer, it’s for all customers, not just you.” One of the boys quickly apologised, and I assured him that he didn’t need to — he was very respectful throughout the interaction.
I even told him how much we appreciate the regular service from the gentleman who’s usually there — we believe he’s the owner — because he treats every customer with genuine respect.
Our message is simple: if someone doesn’t have the attitude or communication skills to serve customers respectfully, especially in hospitality, they may not be suited for the role. As paying customers, we’re not asking for anything free only to be treated with the basic courtesy we’ve always received in the past.
We truly value this place and hope this feedback helps maintain the high standard we’ve...
Read moreHow long does it take to cook 2 gluttony burgers and a fries ,
Well 2 and half hours if u decide to order from BURGERTORY WERRIBEE ,
thats how long i had to wait for 2 burgers and half fries ( thats how much i got )
After waiting for an hour and a half for my order at home , expecting door dash to get the order home quickly, but having been told that the first order was handed out to a random individual, who had nothing to do with my order (apparently they gave away 8 such orders today) and been told they had a busy night at Burgertory , so thats why they were taking longer than usual , which i understood , thinking they would be short staffed , so still kept waiting , after which for some reason, my order was cancelled .
I decided to drive to the restaurant to pick up my order myselfand informed the staff for the same , expecting to just drive down , pick up my order from the restaurant and leave (which takes me about 15 minutes to get to the restaurant, ) , especially after what i had gone through, i thought the staff would be more feeling more empathetic , but obviously that didnt happen ,
Reached there and had to place my order all over again , and then wait another 40 minutes to get my order … For which i heard the kitchen manager saying “let him wait”
I was more shocked looking at the guy responsible for packing the orders , he was busy messaging on his phone , for over 10 minutes in front of me , their was about 8-10 orders on the pass and about 6-8 staff in the kitchen ,
Do not recommend this place , if u really want a good burger …
I would stick to truck stop deluxe for all my...
