Second time I've been to this restaurant. Excellent food on both occasions. Although not many customers there when we visited, a Wednesday lunchtime, which is expectable. The staff member who served us was a very friendly guy making for a more pleasurable experience. Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed meals, my partner having scallops with seasonal vegetables and myself with Cantonese Duck, which was excellent and done to perfection. We haven't had Master Wok in years but feeling a bit 'new years day' ish we decided to give it ago. My partner drove from Tarneit to pick it up and what a waste of time and money. The chicken satay sauce tasted like watery peanut butter and the only ingredients was chicken and cauliflower. The sweet n sour pork batter did not cover the pork entirely and wasn't crunchy at all, more doughy, and the lettuce delight was tasteless and had more liquid in it than I have ever experienced from any restaurant. Good service but flavourless food. Worst wontons and special fried rice I've had in a very long time. Rice was lacking ingredients, would need a microscope to find spring onions or ham/spam/beef - a positive is that it wasn't greasy and oily at all. Prawns were totally flavourless as well, probably were low quality frozen prawns. Wontons were disappointing, very crispy and good looking but tasteless. I want to support the local shops but this restaurant really needs to step up, adding fresh ingredients would lift their game...
