We ordered the BBQ platter for six, expecting a hearty, flavourful spread. Instead, we were served dry, bland, and poor-quality meat that felt like it had been sitting out far too long. The overall presentation and taste were underwhelming and not reflective of the price point.

Service was chaotic at best. Midway through the meal, we were abruptly asked to move tables without any clear explanation — disruptive and frankly unacceptable. When we asked questions about the food, the staff struggled to provide even basic answers.

We had ordered a 1.5L Coke, but were instead given two 375ml cans. No apology, no adjustment — just a quiet swap. If corners are being cut on soft drinks, it raises serious questions about the standards behind the kitchen doors.

The interior lacked warmth or character — more reminiscent of a butcher’s shop than a dine-in experience.

All in all, it may be suitable for a one-time curiosity visit, but definitely not for anyone seeking quality food or service. We won’t...

I visited kabayan while looking for a lunch venue during my lunch break. I ordered Filipino almond beef in blackbean sauce. Having never tried Filipino food, I let my taste buds be the judge. Now I'm no master chef, I'm an ordinary bloke who loves his food and I've gotta tell you, the food was great! I got three other dishes besides my own and took them back to the work site, as it was my turn to shout lunch. The boys started eating and it wasn't long before comments like, mate this is GOOD! and hey can I try what you're eating? Began to be exchanged and with that all the dishes were placed in the middle of the table and we all enjoyed a great lunch. Everyone who sat down to eat lunch that day took note of the restaurants address and have all visited the restaurant again outside of work, one travelling from Sunshine! Me, being from Hoppers have returned 2 or 3 times since. Nice...

UPDATE TO RESPONSE: You acknowledging my review, however im extremely disappointed with how you've handled my experience. No body expects to spend $100+ on food to receive a disgusting glove within their meal. You did not record me or have any video evidence of our interaction and to make such a claim is unbelievable. You do realise that you provided me with food that contained a used glove and you're trying to pass it off as though I was being UNREASONABLE? You get what you deserve what you deserve .disgusting! We got a delivery from Pinoy Diner. And we found one of their gloves in our crispy pata boxes. Recommended to all customers there, to check your foods and possibly be prepared to be sick or worse. Place should be shut down or atleast checked with health regulations. Kadiri talaga. We were only refunded for the crispy pata like...

Thank you so much for the beautiful lunch! Pinoy Diner is a must try if you are wanting good quality authentic Filipino cuisine. We ordered the pork barbecue combo, sizzling sisig, kare kare and a side of chips for the kids. Everything tasted amazing and the best part of our visit was the service, the owners are absolutely lovely and warm. They made sure to cater to my son’s egg allergy and even went over every single item to make sure we got what we ordered. Wait time was spot on - when you have toddlers you want food to come out as early as possible and the food came out just in time! Our meal was reasonably priced so we decided to purchase some of their beautiful desserts to take home. Overall we had a great experience and cannot wait to come back and try the other dishes!

Such a gem located at side street for traditional Philippino food and desserts. Tried few dishes dine in. The food overall are in the sweet side and slightly oily because of street good style, it is actually really good and feel like eating in Philippines locally. Not only I can order dishes in the menu, but also snacks food at the counter. Meat dishes are the best in this restaurant. Ube dessert are also famous too. They also offer Philippines imported cooking sauces, drinks, chips and snacks as well as bakery items. Seats are limited inside and plenty of parking nearby. Staff are friendly, but very busy at the time I went. Prices are average. They even help you to take your food to your car if you order takeaway. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.
