Went here for lunch on 6/1/23. I mention that because it's the height of the holiday season and Dromana is a tourist town. So, I thought I'd better book a table. I tried to book for 1:00 but it said no availability, but it then let me book for 12:30. Go figure. We arrived to a near empty venue, that never got more than half full, I suspect because their booking system (The Fork) doesn't work properly. It turned out to be just as well that it was near empty because it still took 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. I was actually about to go ask for a refund when the meals arrived, 5 minutes after I had already asked about them.

My wife's salt and pepper calamari was over seasoned to the point where it was only edible by bathing it in aioli to attenuate the seasoning. Her chips were over salted to the point of being inedible. It baffles me that this is so often the case. Why put any salt at all on anything when there are salt and pepper shakers on every table? My bangers and mash (yes, we love the exotic dishes) was edible, but had clearly been rushed in the preparation. The sausages had obviously been microwaved, being cool on the outside but hotter than a Macca's apple pie on the inside. The broccolini was barely cooked, and way too Al dente.

We dine out several times a week, and I am just fed up with slow service, sub par food and and prices that have rocketed since the pandemic started. I'm also sick of signs telling me not to be disrespectful to the staff, because of pandemic caused shortages of staff. They are using this as a licence for poor service, surly behaviour and a lack of interest in customer service. I won't be back to the Peninsula Club, with it's spacious car park that...

Waited nearly an hour for the food to arrive. I ordered a mains fish and chips.Complained to management about the wait and was told there wasn’t any thing she could do in regards to compensation as the food was already discounted due to their Mon-Thurs 50% off special. When my meal finally arrived there were 4 pieces of fish that looked like the mozzarella cheese stick you were able to get at Maccas a while back. The other tables had 2 pieces of fish but they were the size you would get from a fish and chip shop. That was the reason I ordered the fish in the first place. It wasn’t until I got home that it dawned on me I was served a kids meal. On top of that the fish itself had a very fishy taste. Not what I was expecting. It was probably pulled out of the back of the freezer after having been in there for a couple of months. The rest of the dining party ordered chicken Parma’s. Again these were part of the 50% off special. What they fail to mention is that the size of the Parma’s are also 50% the size of what you get at any other venue in the area. So basically we paid full price. Would I dine there again? Definitely NOT!!! It left a bad taste in my mouth and gave me a bad memory for...

After 16 years of being a big part of the RSL,Bull dogs and now The MRC or beautiful, loyal and much loved Wendy is no longer working at the Peninsula Club a couple of weeks ago I took Wendy to the Club just to say good bye to her very loyal customers who were all delighted to see her but sad she was leaving After about 15 minuets of a very warm welcome The Male manager came up to Wendy while she was chatting to the friends in the pokies, He rudely stuck up 6 fingers and all he said was barred for 6 month with no explanation As the Lady Wendy is she just left but was very upset at the way this was handled

As the great community we are in Dromana and that was what the club was all about COMMUNITY It has been arranged by some lovely people to have a farewell for Wendy at the Dromana Footy Club Rooms on Tuesday 28th June, 4,30 All Welcome. good on you Dromana. MRC you need to take a good look at your attitude towards or Club Shame on you Our Club is fine its the MRC that don't realise we are a...

I am shocked. We took our family out for a birthday dinner (12 people). We ordered a steak, and another family member ordered the beef noodles. The beef noodles were overcooked and tough, but we didn't say anything. We requested that the steak is cooked medium, but it came out well-done and a dark grey colour in the centre. When we nicely brought this to their attention, the manager said "This is actually medium rare, we base our steaks of of temperature, not colour". Yet the steak was fully dark grey in the centre, and tough to chew. We asked to scrap the meal from the order, she obliged. Yet, after dessert when we asked for the refund for the steak, she argued with us, refused to refund the dish that was not even eaten, and laughed in our faces when we communicated that this is not how you do business. I would not want this woman managing my business. Do not take your family here, and do not order the steak.

Have been to other pubs in the area and haven’t been impressed. Peninsula Club Dromana is an exception though! Went for dinner on Saturday night and made a booking as it gets busy. The menu isn’t huge and there is a large seniors menu if that’s for you. The Poterhouse steak was delicious and also the chicken schnitzel. Friendly service and reasonable prices for food and drinks. If you’re up for a pub meal I’d be going here and not the larger alternative on the main road! Will be going here again.

Nice Sunday feed in Dromana with a group of 4. Helpful staff, cosy atmosphere (we were outside on a nice sunny day) and more than pleasing food We had x2 classic parmas, steak sandwich and beef burger and food was tasty and plentiful No table service so it’s pub style with going up and ordering drinks and food at the bar but there’s 2 bars to do that from so no issue We will be back again
