Read moreThe WORST dining experience I have ever encountered. If I could give zero stars I would as Phat Milk Cafe deserves a zero. In my whole life of dining out I have never complained about the food or service, however this changed today.
For what we received the price was horrendous. $12 for a smoothie that had no flavour and was undrinkable, butter milk chicken burger had a soggy bottom bun was $22. The peanut butter jelly pancakes, although looked picture perfect was far from a tasty dish. The pancakes tasted of baking soda and the honeycomb was burnt. The breakfast pantry had one poached egg, burnt bacon, the flatbread was so hard it was uncuttable and the roasted tomatoes were not roasted, they were barely even heated.
We asked kindly if the $12 smoothie could be exchanged, but they were out of the fruit required. So as we went to pay we asked if this could please be discounted from the total bill. The very rude hostess was abrupt and told us that there was nothing wrong with this drink so there would be no discount. My friend paid the full price after explaining multiple times how bad the drink tasted. On payment for the rest of the meal, I explained how there were further disappointments with the food. The hostess announced how she was the owner and stood there arguing that there was no issues at all. At one stage she even rolled her eyes at me. I have never experienced such a display of poor/rude service. She was even happy to treat us poorly with other customers around.
I brought a product and paid for a service that was not up...

The stars of the breakfast show were undoubtedly the Dirty Eggs, Avo Smash, and Knafeh French Toast. Each dish showcased a harmony of flavors and textures, making for a truly satisfying breakfast experience. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite.
To complement my meal, I chose the Berry Smoothie and Chai Latte, both of which were equally impressive. The smoothie was a refreshing and fruity concoction that paired beautifully with my breakfast items, while the Chai Latte provided a comforting and expertly-crafted pick-me-up with its delicate balance of spices.
In conclusion, Phat Milk Cafe is a must-visit breakfast destination, boasting delectable dishes, exceptional service, and a cozy ambiance.
