Pho No.1 — Restaurant in Melbourne

If you're looking for authentic and delicious Vietnamese food in Springvale, Phở Number 1 is a must-visit! I recently had the Phở and Cơm Tấm (Vietnamese Broken Rice) and both dishes were absolutely amazing.

The Phở was served piping hot with a rich, fragrant broth that was perfectly seasoned. The beef slices were tender, and the fresh herbs, onions, and noodles were just the right texture. It came with a generous side of bean sprouts, Thai basil, lemon, and sauces to customize the flavor to your taste. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and satisfying.

The Cơm Tấm was equally impressive. The broken rice was fluffy and aromatic, served with a beautifully grilled pork chop, a fried egg, shredded pork skin, and a slice of steamed pork meatloaf (chả). It also came with pickled vegetables, fresh cucumber, tomato slices, and a side bowl of savory soup. The accompanying fish sauce was flavorful and tied everything together perfectly. Every bite was balanced and full of flavor!

To top it off, I enjoyed an ice-cold can of Coca-Cola, which went perfectly with the meal. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly.

Highly recommend Phở Number 1 for anyone craving high-quality Vietnamese food in a comfortable setting....

You burnt my youngest daughter on her birthday with boiling water , didn't apologize and I had to pay full price will not be going back in this lifetime!

I know accidents do happen but the waitress that spilt it couldn't even acknowledge she'd stuffed up and apologize for her actions, later on i saw her almost do exactly the same to the next table up luckily for him he caught it before wearing it.

For me and the misses our food's were cold after sorting out our daughter making sure she was right I even had to make the call have you got bloody ice then things started rolling they brought a burns bandage. Very appalling if there is an injury on your property you need to attend to it asap not when the customer is freaking out and a little girl is in tears on her god damn birthday!

The food was average for us , might have been different eaten hot. One of the very few restaurants in Springvale that provide vegetarian pho! Really friendly service and the food servings are huge. Even if you are getting the takeaway, staff are very hospitable and will offer hot tea while you wait for your order to be made if it will take more than a few minutes. Setting is very modern and clean.

Edit: I've gone back a few more times to try out their other veggie options as per owner's recommendation and they are all amazing. One thing the restaurant also has is different types of pulses for the noodles which is definitely unique. Love the modern twist they put on food (sorry for the takeaway images). Never have had an issue with the service either. I believe there is a card surcharge/percent but it's not like they're charging you a dollar like some places when you're just buying a meal for yourself.
