Peaceful, tranquil, great physical distancing. Entrée was a fun and delicious bit of fusion, but the main course was standard issue starch-thickened, bland fare and not enjoyed. Dessert was beautifully presented and very nice. Unfortunately all the comfort and happiness the space and peace should have conferred (for a price!) was undone by the waiting staff patrolling constantly up and down, even stopping near the table and watching steadily. Attentiveness is one thing; intense surveillance another. Quite uncomfortable and very insensitive of them. But I'd try again if it were less expensive. One main dish was $59 if I remember rightly. EDIT - having read other comments, I see there have been accusations of poor service, and so can imagine how staff may not wish to seem inattentive. Personalities differ. Some want the waiting staff permanently beside the table, beck and call. Others wish to be left to get on with it, with staff responsive to a hail. It can't be easy to find the balance. Waiting staff really are essential people. They should be valued more highly for the diplomatic intelligence required for the spy/ helper role they...

We attended EE for years. and continue to attend Qilin for special family occasions due to the guarantee of a finer ambiance, quality food and excellent, professional service.
We always purchase banquets as the volume of food is excellent and importantly, the quality is excellent. Seafood, meat and vegetables are tasty, fresh and presented wonderfully well. We always leave completely satisfied
Mature waiting staff are always polite and attentive and communicate very well. Their professionalism is crucial to the dining experience.
The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the experience on all fronts.
We continue to attend with pleasure, and are always welcomed warmly.
Once again, the highest-quality restaurant in the area that serve quality meals without gimmick, complemented beautifully with professional,...
Read moreI hate to give restaurant 2 stars rating, but there weren't many positives here at all. We were part of a group and had the $65 banquet. Scallop shell filled with breadcrumb and some mushroom - very dry and served cold. We had to send some back to be microwaved warm. San Choi Bao - never heard of it containing peanuts . Be aware if allergic ...... Also it was supposed to have chicken in it , but i think they used the same breadcrumb mix from the scallop shell and heaped on the onion.. Salt prawns were juicy and a highlight. Peking duck - something strange with the pancake - very floury taste - certainly not homemade.. Butter and Pepper Beef and Kang Po Chicken was average - no flavour, though edible - but 4 tiny pieces on a bowl full of rice is not acceptable..... Staff was rushing , a bit rude in not accommodating our vegetarian group who had to serve themselves from bulk vegetarian plates of rice or noodles...... No authentic chinese flavours at this restaurant - very dumbed down...
