Rexy Afghan Kebab — Restaurant in Melbourne

It was a very awful experience!

I recently visited Rexy Kebab Shop, excited to try their offerings, but I must say, the experience was underwhelming. The kebab bread, a crucial component of any kebab dish, was disappointingly dry. This took away from the overall enjoyment and texture that one expects in a kebab. Similarly, the biryani suffered from the same issue - it was not only dry but also lacked any notable taste, making it a forgettable part of the meal.

On a slightly brighter note, the HSP (Halal Snack Pack) was somewhat fine. It managed to deliver on some fronts, providing a glimmer of what the culinary experience at Rexy could be. However, even this dish was not without its faults and certainly has room for improvement to meet the expectations set by local...

This is by far the best Afghan food I’ve tried in Melbourne!! The food was amazing, and more importantly, the service was unmatchable. I’ve never had restaurant owners treat us like this before. Today they were supposed to be closed but they opened specifically for us since they knew my family were visiting. They over served us and delivered the food right on time before iftar. It’s very hard to find this kind of service nowadays, let alone great food. Highly recommend to anyone, I know you won’t regret it. Rexy Afghan Kebab is an absolute standout! Their kebabs are packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavour — every bite is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their food.

And the chips… wow. Perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned with Rexy’s special chicken salt that takes them to the next level. Hands down the best chips I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something!

If you’re after delicious food made with love and consistency, Rexy Afghan Kebab is the place to go. Highly recommend!
