This use to be my fav food retailer in Eastland but the service has gotten so bad. On my 1st visit since the old manager left, I ordered my go-to menu item - Tofu & Mushroom Pho.... the stock was luke warm and noodles were still hard/uncooked. Refund requested. On my 2nd visit, I ordered the Tofu & Mushroom Pho again, and waited for 10 minutes at the counter while one staff member refilled the drinks fridge, and the other made soldiers. There were no other customers during this time. Eventually I asked what was taking so long, and the new manager - reluctantly - stopped making soldiers to go and check. She then reported that their kitchen hand was missing, and didn’t know when he would be back. Refund requested. On my 3rd and final attempt today, I asked - politely - if there was someone available to cook my food before I ordered (fair question considering my past experience/s). My order was prompt, but when I went back up to the counter to collect it, another staff member gave me a smug look, and raised her eyebrows as I took the soup. I handed it back. I am never going back! 🙅🏻♀️ This place use to have the longest line in the food court, and the manager was a beautiful heart-opened person who valued every customer. Now, they are lucky to get a single customer every 5 minutes at peak time. A true reflection of the decline in...
Read moreWaited behind a menulog delivery driver for a few minutes at 6.30pm (happy to wait), when he left with his food I was told by the staff member that I couldn’t order as she had a lot of online orders to fulfill. I took this to mean that I couldn’t order any hot meals which was fine as I just wanted some rice paper rolls and I could see there were plenty already made up in the front case. I proceeded to wait for almost 10 minutes while the staff member prepared and packed online orders while a queue of people gathered behind me. After the queue reach around 7-8 people, the staff member finally came over and said she was meant to be closed but we could order rice paper rolls if we wanted. She then argued with me about the fact that I waited even though she was closed (she never told me she was closed and the store looked fully open, lights on and food in the case). I finally left with my food and it was definitely not worth the long wait and argument! It was so dry, had hard bits of chicken inside and she got the order wrong as well. Customer service was awful - she was also rude to the customers...
Read moreWhen it’s shark week, you live in Ringwood, you need Pho & need it delivered because you just can’t people, Roll’d Pho does the job. East of Box Hill, however, there is one other Pho place in Ringwood & 2 in Bayswater that are FARRRR better. The cost/portion size ratio at Roll’d is pretty terrible value for money. The flavour is probz the most bland I’ve experienced (and I know my Pho). It’s not terrible, Pho probably never could be, but it wouldn’t be my go-to. The homemade lemon iced tea is actually kind of addictive though. Be warned, if you are ordering via Deliveroo, that thing that says you get a free iced tea with every order is a complete lie lol. You don’t even get it if you buy one and ask them to include the advertised free one in the special instructions. It’s fast food. It’s better than...
