Shocking experience – Rude service, racial profiling, and food poisoning. Dining here was one of the most distressing experiences I’ve had. Not only did I suffer food poisoning after eating here, but the service was appallingly rude and discriminatory. From the moment I walked in, it felt like the staff had already decided how to treat me based on how I looked. While some guests were warmly welcomed and treated with respect, I was met with cold stares, dismissive tones, and zero courtesy. The staff clearly pick and choose who they treat with kindness, and their behavior suggested racial profiling and blatant discrimination. If you’re someone who values equal treatment, basic respect, and your health, I strongly advise staying away. Sadly, this wasn’t just a one-off experience—other reviews reflect the same pattern of biased service. No one should have to pay to be treated like they’re less than others. I genuinely believe that if this kind of experience can happen once, it’s likely happening more often. I’m not alone—many others have shared similar stories in the restaurant’s lowest-rated Google reviews. It’s clear that I’m not the only one who received this kind of “special treatment.” The pattern speaks for itself. They even give free takeaway services for lawyers and barristers but not for ppl who wear normal clothes I would say maybe become a lawyer or prime monster so they will respect u by your skin or appearance In respond to the owner of the restaurant I see so strange because ppl who surf online have the right to protect themselves. Yes my name is Qiuyi what is the matter to have an English name Anne. I see very strange when a restaurant is not resolving problem for customer but decide to expose its customer’s identity and indicates all customers who published ‘lowest review’ with your comment is so laughable and u are so ego. If any people who make this restaurant manager angry be careful they will check you bank information through their billing system and investigate on your credit card. Because I publish this review with an online name but my bank card name:) FYI That’s what happened last night after the visit of the restaurant I wonder why I have to seek medical attention and taking medication to easy my symptoms Thanks for your passage aggressive comment And thanks for the extra effort to check my bank detail and disclose in public

What an absolutely wild and unprofessional response by the staff. Why would you take yourself to a restaurant where the staff care so little about food safety they think food poisoning as a one-day incubation period when all major medical sources are very clear symptoms can start within hours. Does the health inspector know you think it takes 18-24 hrs for food poisoning to kick in? Its literally in food safety training handbooks, or have you not done them? so strange. Never mind the absolutely shocking racism on display here. The audacity of turning your nose up at a name you probably can't event pronounce properly. News flash, people have preferred names, Dave -- which is commonly short for David. I went back and read the 1 star reviews and its clear the owner of this restaurant takes any criticism poorly and has zero ability to reflect and improve, and is ready to fly off the handle at someone who hasn't even written a single word. Note how despite apparently being there he brings up zero actual evidence to refute negative reviews. I happen to think customers are entitled to not get food poisoning, and to leave a bad review if they receive poor service. Embarrassing.

I booked lunch at Rosa’s for my wife’s birthday. The food, ambience and service was amazing, and made for a very memorable experience. Rosa was friendly and very personable, and her passion for food and life was most refreshing. She took us through the menu and made great recommendations. We even learned a few things about the various dishes, about Sicilian cuisine and even it’s history. We started with fish in saor and baked ricotta with heirloom tomatoes. Each bite of both dishes was sensational. For mains we had Sicilian style rabbit with paccheri tubed pasta, and chicken salmorigio with marinated zucchini. Both were delicious. The rabbit, was light and the aromatic herbs from the chicken tantalised our senses as it was being lowered onto our table. To complement our mains we had a celery, radish and pecorino salad. For dessert we had cannoli and a fig tart. Both were exceptional. Every dish was presented beautifully. The menu is seasonal and as such will change. Given that every dish we had was a 10 out of 10, I don’t think you could go wrong selecting anything on Rosa’s menu. We left completely satisfied and are looking forward to returning again.

Giving this two stars because it was my birthday and my girlfriend took me here to celebrate. We didn’t like one of the drinks and ask to switch the drink for something else. The chef didn’t even bother listening to us which I found very rude. The waitress took our bread when she didn’t ask us if we were finish. My girlfriend told her we were not done with the bread and she didn’t bother apologizing yet rolled her eye. I had the worst birthday here when they didn’t find a way to make this right. Horrible.

This is a fact not an understatement. If the owner chooses to not to listen to my review, good luck with your business.

05/17/24 Edit: it’s very ironic how you can’t even listen to my review but tell me to have fun at my birthday? Who are you to tell me to have fun on my birthday? You’re better off NOT owning a restaurant if you have a high ego and can’t consider criticism from others. Absolute garbage attitude.

3rd edit: You are a truly a great example of a hypocrite, you respond only the bad reviews about your restaurant yet you criticize me about my review. Speaking about opening a restaurant and criticism… If I did open a restaurant, I wouldn’t be this rude to my customers on THEIR BIRTHDAY and I would actually listen to their feedback with criticism which obviously you can’t cause you are too sensitive with an arrogant ego. Do yourself and all of your customers a favour, look at yourself in the mirror and reflect/fix on your actions before actually suggesting customers like myself to own a restaurant....

My fiancé took myself and our 3 month old out for dinner last night for my birthday. We both have been wanting to come to Rosas for quite some time but haven’t found time to get there. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by Rosa, sat down and offered water. She broadly went through the menu, the wine list and completely explained the specials which was extremely helpful as you know what it’s like when you go to Italian restaurants. She answered all our questions perfectly. I was so impressed that she found the time to exclusively go through the menu with us while still being able to cater and help anyone else in the restaurant. She done such a fantastic job and made our experience “my birthday” so special. Once our order was taken we got given beautiful bread, olive oil, salt and pepper which was so nice while we waited for entrees. The food was more than amazing and the serving size was great! Water was always poured into our glass and we were always asked if we wanted more drinks off the wine list. And most of all - the wine list stayed on the table which is my absolute pet hate when I dine and I can’t read what wine to try next!! So thanks for not walking off with the wine list!! You ticked every box!! Thanks Rosa and her wonderful staff. 10/10 from me. We...
