The manager and other staff are totally unethical and also fraudsters. As we booked twin beds, one room for 2 adults, but as we reached by travelling brisbane to Melbourne at Dandenong Motel, we come to know that there is regular practice of fraud. That manager, Jasen, clearly said that I can not allow 2 persons in one room and one queen bed, we showed that we have booked from booking.com twin beds for 2 adults, then he was laughing at us by saying that go and talk to booking.com that they manage for you such type of room and beds as they have mentioned and if you really want to stay here then you have to pay $40 extra per night otherwise you can leave. By listening to this type of language and fraud, we immediately contacted booking.com, but they said we have sent your 3 days payment to the concerned motel. Now, there is a process of refund you have to wait. By the way, we leave the premises immediately because people seem totally fraudsters, and this is regular practice of this motel. Also, there will be other types of fraud like cleaning charges, no availability of iron, body wash, soap, shampoo, etc, and one of the customers outside the motel told that they charged separately for these things. We have not gotten a refund from booking.com. Even 4 days have passed, and we have contacted...
Read moreNever again will I stay at this joke of a motel. I booked anad paid for a room for 3 adults. When we arrived it was only set up for 2, so we had to go to reception, the get everything for the 3rd person. Then we checked the beds & the sheets looked liked they hadn't changed them from the last person. The pillows were that flat, that I had to roll it up to use it. The beds were like a slab of concrete. The shower was shocking with hardly any pressure, very small hand held shower head, soap dish was missing, so you had to hold your soap the entire time. Reception told me that you can just park anywhere, so I couldn't even park outside of my room, I had to park across the lot & carry the bags & other stuff some 40mtrs away. Even the coffee was atrocious & the tea was like Chinese tea, very weak, even using 2 bags. Please do yourself a favour & book ANYWHERE else than here. What shocking...
Read moreDandenong Motel is a reasonably confortable motel a few km from Dandenong CBD. The facilities in the room whe had were reasonable. Toaster, kettle, iron and board; no hair dryer unfortunately, but on this occassion it didnt matter. There was a double bed and set of bunks - family room - bunks and bed both comfortable. There were only thin blankets on the beds, but there was a woollen blanket in the cupboard and 2 spare pillows. We did ask for another blanket, just in case, but we ended up not needing anything, as it was a comfortable temperature in the room requiring neither heating nor cooling. The bathroom appears to have been recently renovated, with new toilet, vanity and rain shower. The floor does get slippery when wet though. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap supplied. No spare toilet rolls - actually had to request some - but other than that, it...
