This used to be my favorite Greek restaurant in port melbourne , I buy lunch here frequently when usually when I’m Working from Home, almost since the place opened , and all through pandemic I’ve even written FB reviews claiming it to be one of the best souvlaki’s in town , posting pics and raving about the authentic taste I went in tonight to have my favorite lamb delight to be told they’ve run out of lamb, alternatives were offered chicken or pork , I chose the chicken . At no time was I told that this was a whole new taste and menu item . I assumed they would just switch out the non existent lamb for chicken and it would be just as yummy , no it wasn’t , it was a disgusting mix of sweet chili sauce and mustard drenching the chicken , tasting like something Weird American diner combo , When I asked the guy behind the grill who had served me , he retorted “you should have read the menu ,” Not impressed .Who expects chili and Mustard on a souvlaki when you’re just switching out the meat because there was no lamb left .. , this experience has left a horrible taste in my mouth literally. . After scraping out the slimy mess inside I was left with a pitta and chips … Not...

Ordered the pork wrap.. Taste overall was ok. Meat in fact looked more like lamb.. Guys please pay more attention to the quality and quantity of how you prepare your wraps. It is situational sometimes but in this experience and with a $25 incl. delivery of a smallish sized wrap you put in there literally 3 small pieces of chips.. at least pay attention to putting bigger pieces of chips in there if you price your wraps over $20...the customer is paying you and expect to be served with their food preparation accordingly and be fair. Hardly any tomato quantity either.. as usual. Nothing like home as they say. Meat again was too much shaved into tiny pieces. Friendly reminder to take more care of customers. You delivered fast, but I would've preferred if you took longer and took more care in how you prepared the wrap. Good taste though like I mentioned. Just some constructive feedback - I know your food is generally good...

Just had lunch at this little Greek joint and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. Ordered the mixed meats pita with salad and wasn’t disappointed.

The pita bread was fresh and warm - you could tell it wasn’t sitting around under heat lamps all day. They loaded it up with three different meats that were all cooked perfectly. The lamb was tender and had that proper chargrilled flavor, the chicken was juicy without being dry, and the pork had a nice bit of seasoning that didn’t overpower everything else.

Portion size was generous without being ridiculous - I left satisfied but not uncomfortably full. The staff were friendly and efficient, got the order out quickly even though they had a decent lunch rush going. For the price point, this place delivers solid, honest Greek food. Nothing fancy, just done right. Already planning to come back and try their...

It a great take away shop with some outside tables and chairs strewn over the foot path and limited seating out back. The food seems to be a little on the pricey side considering you get well used and tattered menus, you order at the till and the food is dumped on the tables whether the plates will fit or not. The staff are friendly and looked genuinely run off their feet. We had the Yeeros Journey for 2, looked great when it came out, but lacked enough chips, the Greek salad was tiny and the cabbage salad lacked taste although it did have a nice colour to it. There was just enough meat for us but just. For our starters, I thought the Saganaki was great but the beef patty was very dry. Overall we were happy with our food and with the expectation that it's essential take-away style food. No bookings are taken for table reservations.

The “manager” Ahman was extremely rude when I asked his staff to cut the yeros in half and was told that a) it’s impossible b) he could’ve cut it in half had I asked “him” when ordering. So is it a) or b) ? Andrew, you shouldn’t have managers like this serving your great food. Here he is talking on the phone “managing”. This was all discussed before the yeros was prepared. It’s not fine dining, it’s meat and fillings in a pita. I appreciate the art in rolling a pita in a cone, but if I need rolled normally and cut in half it’s impossible? Or was it because I didn’t ask him. Do I have a time frame to ask for it to be cut in half, god forbid I want to share my meal. Furthermore, when I told him I’d be putting a negative google review up, his response was “I don’t care, I’ll just take it down”

First of all the staff were great, doing their best on a very busy Saturday evening. The restaurant itself has a narrow hallway so it is a bit chaotic with diners waiting to be seated and customers waiting for takeaway. We ordered two platters to share. Out of all the 3 meats, the chicken was the best. However, overall the meats were dry and salty. There was not enough fat to meat ratio to make the meat more juicy and succulent. Most of the meat pieces were cut up too small as well. The chips were seasoned well but were not crispy enough. Personally, I prefer the quality of food at The Brotherhood Yiros or even Stalactites.
