ORDERED (SEP 2025): 🍨 Mini Bingsu: Mini Nom Yen ($15.90) 🍞 PangPing Pandan + Almond flakes with matching ($12.90) service charge
This was $29.43 for two people.
REVIEW: 🍬 Still delicious, so yummy and saccharine sweet. ORDERED AUGUST 2024 (1 WEEK LATER): 🍨 Snow Pangping (Pink Milk): Snow Moon's original milk base, layered with Sala syrup and a small piece of bread. Topped up with croutons and cherry jelly ($19.90)
This was $22.33 including a service fee.
REVIEW: 🤍 I had to take another friend here to try Snow Moon's pink milk. I got the full size this time (instead of the mini) and it was better. There were hidden croutons throughout the snow pangping that made it worth it with its crunchy, buttery texture and flavour.
It's delicious. Would get it again. ❤ ORDERED AUGUST 2024: 🍞 PangPing Pandan + Almond flakes with matching ($11.90) 🍨 Mini Bingsu: Mini Nom Yen ($13.90) service charge ($0.57)
It was $13.19pp here.
REVIEW: 🤍 I loved the dessert at Snow Moon! I hadn't seen Nom Yen as an offering before, but it's a sweet Thai pink milk which has a creamy taste as well. It worked perfectly in a bingsu, providing a sweetness that made us feel satisfied after dinner. The pearls and croutons were a great textural touch as well! Personal preference: I could've done without bread inside the bingsu though 😂. The Pangping was also delicious. A generous amount where you can also get the second in the same flavour (so you and your mate can split 1 each) or you can change it to another flavour. I appreciate this level of customisation! The dessert bread had a crispy outer edge with a soft toasty inside.
We came pretty early (6:40pm) and there was ample space inside the restaurant and out. We seated ourselves and the staff brought out some water and cups as well. Taking to the QR to order, we also noticed a poster on the sign saying: $9 per person minimum for dine in!
So that's your FYI.
Overall, I found Snow Moon was worth it without a line and an easy dessert after dinner. I would...
Read moreAbsolutely loving the range of different flavours here at Snow Moon, with tasty Pang Ping Toasts, Bingsu, bubble waffles and drinks! We tried the -
▪️MANGO BISCOFF WAFFLE ($16.50) Egg waffle with Biscoff biscuits and mango, served with mango ice cream, whipped cream, and mango sauce. ▪️SNOW BUALOY BINGSU ($19.90) Butterfly pea milk base layered with coconut sauce and young coconut, topped with glutinous rice balls and served with salted egg custard ▪️PANDAN & ALMOND PANG PING TOAST ($9.50) Toasted butter bread with pandan custard and almond flakes ▪️Lime Iced Tea ($5.50) ▪️Taro thick shake ($7.50)
Absolutely love the mango biscoff waffle - the waffle was freshly crispy but soft on the inside, great balance of textures and flavours - with the soft, refreshing sweet mango, the biscoff crumbs scattered throughout and the smooth mango sorbet hidden inside the whipped cream. Wasn’t too sweet and a very balanced dessert that we absolutely enjoyed and would recommend.
The bingsu was good! It was my first time trying this flavour and I found the salted egg to be a very nice addition. Couldn’t really taste any strong flavours in the shaved ice itself but I really liked how the toppings were on the side as well as on top, so you could really control how much toppings you want at a time. The taro thickshake was very milky and the taro flavours were quite subtle, and although not bad- we both personally preferred the lime iced tea more.
The toast was really good. Like it was warm, not too sweet and as a big pandan lover, I would also...

After a long, chilly afternoon shopping around the city, we were in need of a little comfort—so we ended up here at Snow Moon.
My friend went for the warm bua loy, a creamy, sweet bowl that felt like a warm hug in Melbourne’s winter air. I, being a die-hard Thai tea lover, went for the iced one (yes, even in cold weather 😆). The Thai tea was okay, not super standout, but still refreshing.
The cafe itself is petite and tucked into a small laneway—you might miss it if you’re not looking! We were lucky to snag one of the last small tables. Despite the tight space, it had a cute charm with its neon sign and photo wall, giving off cozy late-night vibes.
