It should be illegal to serve what they call “beef”!!! The ‘beef’ looks like expired dried up cat food that sat in the sun! It’s absolutely despicable !! Street food isn’t necessarily the healthiest but it shouldn’t be a plate of grease with lard corn chips swimming in it either ! The tomatoes were cut poorly …. The food had zero flavour ! I waited to be seated and the guy never looked up so I had to say “HI” then I sat down with only one other person at the restaurant they never asked if I was ready to order! They walked by me multiple times! Like they were zombies! I finally waved the server over ! The wait for my food was way way way too long and they told me they were out of chicken for the day but the restaurant had only opened 5 minutes before ! Lame!! I wasn’t offered water till I asked the waitress if she can turn down the music as it was louder than a young kids nightclub with awful music! She was very nice and said of course and agreed that their volume they have it on makes your chest thump and vibrate ! Um then why do you have it on soo loud in here! What the hell!!! I told her my heart is racing so she gave me water ! They never came to check on my food and the seats are uncomfortable and I agree with the other reviews the place looks unfinished !! The chairs don’t match the level of the table so if you get comfy you can’t reach food and if you’re eating you’re not on the chair very goof with your back !! Looks very dirty !!! Basically like a hole in the walll place but not with the surprising food that certain holes in the wall have !! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY !! Go to taco bill or Guzman or zambrero instead!!!! Went to Taste Street in Preston with my hubby for our anniversary! I found this spot on Google while hunting for Birria Tacos, and it did not disappoint!

We booked for 8:45 PM on a Saturday — highly recommend making a reservation because it gets packed! We saw a lot of walk-ins turned away. Unfortunately, we had to wait nearly an hour just to place our order, which was frustrating. But once the food started coming... game-changer!

We kicked off with the Loaded Fries, and WOW — easily the best we’ve ever had! Instantly lifted our mood. Then came the chicken and beef birria tacos — bursting with flavour! An easy 5/5.

We also tried a Margherita and some cocktails, beautifully presented and just as good – 5/5 again.

For dessert, we were given a brownie with vanilla ice cream (possibly complimentary for the delay) – salty-sweet perfection. 5/5!

We also took home their signature rib burger and a chicken burger – still juicy and delicious the next morning. The rib meat just falls apart, and the chicken burger sauce was packed with flavour. Yet another 5/5.

Honestly, the food here is next level – might be the best Mexican we’ve had in Australia.

Service: 3.5/5 – staff were friendly, but the long wait brought it down. No hate, just the reality.
